Okay, yes, one of the knights is attacking a beast with a FOV, not the most optimal damage wise (being half elemental n' all) but at least he can use it on the fiends and trojans in the level.
But look, that other guy. Look at his shield!
Why would you bring that to a freezeing + pierce + shadow danger mission!?!

That knight is a Recon Ranger.
They have that shield and gear, as they're NPCs.
Didn't you see those guys in LoA?

No, Callahan is pretty damn cool. By juggle, Daniz means that you can keep Gremlins, Beasts, and Fiends bouncing in the air, unable to attack.
