I want to suggest something about the map. Why dont you be able to zoom in and zoom out the depth map? So if I want to see the whole map, I just press the zoom out button + (Correct me if the sign is wrong) or if you want to be in the small version press the - button. If you want to go by default size there should be the "Default Button" (D) where you can put it to its regular form

The zoom in and out button should be beside the map.

Please dont rage if you just hate this idea. If you like it, comment and tell me why. If you don't, please include why and dont make it too negative

It's decent. Not needed, but decent.

Great idea, actually.

I'd love to be able to zoom out to see if a path leads to a dead end (i.e. crystals or loot) or to the next part of the level.

Though in Graveyards and Candlestick Keeps, having to backtrack is a point of the level design. Disable the zoom function only in those kind of maps?

Dem maps

I always imagined the map as your distant vision rather than an actual map to track the entire floor with.

As Evilnut said, some maps were just made to force you to backtrack and explore, making this a "meh" idea. But, I think it would be very useful on other levels. I hate walking along paths to find the treasure first and then seeing the distinct "Party Button shape" on the minimap.

Also, + is zoom in, - is zoom out. :P

Not being able to know what's

Not being able to know what's up ahead lends itself to the idea that the Clockworks is a crazy messed up place impossible for anyone to navigate without extensive research. Sorry, but I don't like the idea. It sure would be helpful, but its not in the mood of the game.
