We all know GF and DA resemble Dark and Light Respectively, but sometimes things aren't so cutthroat good or evil, or are a mix, Maybe we could get a splite Shadow/Elemental Sword that comes from the sealed sword that inflictes randomly fire, stun, shock, posion or stun on enemies and on yourself? sure it might not be the best sword to come from the sealed sword, and might not be used as much, but it could be fun. Maybe it's charge attack shoots two swords out and only the charge attack of the 5* version can cause curse randomly too.

Because Radiant Sun Shards has Elemental / Piercing which can deal damage to: Fiends and Undeads at least.
but your "idea" about Shadow / elemental No, because would only Harm Construct and jelly (unless slimes like oilers if they get fire they can get resistance to elemental) construct because they dont have resistance to shadow and jelly cuz they dont have resistance to elemental.
but it just 2 families and there others weapons that could do the job better and if we have the choice to make it full elemental or Full shadow. then why bother to Shadow/elemental damage just to damage 2 families while having normal/elemental or shadow is more useful than Shadow/elemental.
so -1 to the idea

No, because split damage like that awkward and is good against practically nothing. That's the reason they changed AP and Sentenza.
