Once again OOO have shown open hostility towards all non-US timezone players and a proof of favouring only them showing politics of nationalism.
Not only the update took several hours. During which only group of choosen players was let in into game. But also they announced half elevator cost for just few hours just after update.
All non-US players:
- had to update game almost at night
- due to problems they barely get into game late at nigh
- if they were not lucky they even couldnt play C42 since it already switched to LoA
- OOO announced half elevator cost late at night for them

Could someone please explain to me why the community thinks that half/free elevator prices have a greater impact on Energy prices than a patch with new content? I always just assume prices go up because of the patches themselves...

Half energy costs = more crowns earned in a day.
This means that people are going to make more money, which means that they can afford to pay more for the CE. This will raise the price. Unfortunately, if the half-price cost only lasts for a few hours, those who live outside of the US are not going to be conscious whilst the event lasts. As a result, certain areas are going to lose out.
The price of CE might also go up due to the increased number of revives on new danger missions, but I doubt the effect would be as great as the increased amount of crowns in the system.
