Shrine of Slumber, now a danger mission! With a sleepy Tortodrone at the end that we accidentally wake up and have to fight.
Green jellies get no love.

Wait, are Tortodrones no longer in the game? I did not know that. That is like... a travesty. Why would they do that? I still remember their roar, it haunts me.
Also I think the first one I saw dropped a Stone Tortoise shield when the entire party was in 2* gear. Not sure if anyone in the game even had 5* gear yet.

Yeah, I stopped for a year. Around the time achievements and/or Roarmulus Twins came out I think.
I can't believe they'd do away with Tortodrones though. They were like... the coolest enemies in the game. Most people even went so far to consider them nonenemies. They were just peaceful and friendly, not bothering anyone, just wanting hugs, only to be rudely attacked and turned into a roaring death machine.
I still remember watching trailers for Spiral Knights where they'd end with one of the Tortodrones and it just kind of... defined the game for me.

Honestly though, my bro said they removed the tortodrones because of the drops. Why didn't they just remove the chance of getting a Stone Tortoise Shield?

Well we know that Tortodrones are coming closer and closer (they're working on them)
All the tortodrones are in the Core and got locked up because of cruel admin.
When( => IF <==) SK opens the core there will be a legion of tortodrones after you.
