OOO why couldn't you take down the forum and wiki too?

Yeah OOO, I slept trough all this while I could've molested the forums!
Really now, maybe there was a misunderstanding Cronus made or a last minute change.

Would it be posssible to make US and EU servers independent of each other, but stll alow cross-playing between them?

No.
You wouldn't be allowed to have US/EU friends then.
Maybe this movement of crucial files was to put the game on it's own server? Either way, all OOO games were down, not just SK.
