Are you including any spaces or dashes? Because no spaces or dashes are being used.
(I just went in and plugged all those letters into the puzzle, and it looks fine to me.)
EDIT: Although while doing that, it seems I forgot to black out one of the squares. The square on 6 across that separates it from 1 down should be black, making it an 8-letter word. I've updated the file, but wanted to let everyone know in case they had printed it out and were penciling it in.
@Benightz: You don't have to draw anything, just give the picture a funny title or provide some interesting dialogue. It's a caption contest.

Is it all right if we create a piece for submission based on another's work? Just to clarify, I am referring about a previous submission. (eg. Making an image based on a piece of poetry or vice-versa).

Sniped Stranger Hat
While we're discussing the Mewkat as a prize, I'd also like to draw attention to the Sniped Stranger Hat. I haven't been watching the prices, but I definitely recall buyout prices on the AH being around a million crowns at one point, and the one that's on the AH now has a bid of 270,000cr, which definitely puts it above the rest of the 4* prizes, if not the entire prize collection. Thoughts? As with the Mewkat, I'd suggest removing it from the options (even though I'd really love to win that :c).

@Papaya: The clue is stats for an item, so no, there's no mistake there. You just need to find what item it is.
@Snubear: I'll take a look at the Sniped Stranger Hat; it and the cat tails have both been called into question, but I can't find anyone with cat tails on the market. 5* prizes run between 300 and 400k each, so if the prize needs to be moved to that bracket, it can be.
@Shadow-of-Apple: If you're making something in an entirely different category (i.e, poem based on picture, picture based on story), that's fine; just ask the person who created the piece you'd like to use as an inspiration first and give them credit when you submit your entry.
As far as the Mewkat goes, I had also thought that removing it would be the best option, but wanted to hear it from all of you first. I'll be removing it this week, as I have a few other things that need to go on.

It's from a poem by Lewis Carroll, who defined it as meaning both slimy and lithe. Never caught on enough to become a "real" word, I guess.
Not the only thing in the game that references that bit of writing either. :)

Good news, peeps! There's been a hefty donation of CE from HQ that'll not only keep me going giving out CE at at least the rate I'm already doing so for the weekly contests, but also make sure that there's some left over for winner prizes without my having to sell off unwanted prizes to exchange the CR for it.
Up until now, some of you have been receiving your weekly prizes from me, while some of you have been receiving them from my contest alt, as I've been using both contest funds and the CE I had set aside for my personal use rather indiscriminately. Since I've sent the CE that I was given for the contest straight to that alt (so that I don't accidentally use any of it myself), you should all be getting your PMs containing your CE prizes from Dynasty-Kordsov from here on out.
