Not an hour ago, I went to dive into Tier 1 clockworks with my 1* (one star) item as a different knight to join with a party of random people. I purposely chose slow weapons so that my party could deal the greater portion of the damage and, as usual, I play the role of support; shield bumping or knocking back enemies that would dare harm my chanced allies. Plus the thwack hammer and pummel gun are fun toys to mess around with. And the one party I happen to fall into was with someone by a name I dare not mention (although I did write it down), merely because I do not want to sully the experience of a newly recruited apprentice (rank).
In my dive, they'd kick people on occasion because they were not going at his/her (you never know now a days) pace, regardless of how poorly they were playing. And I believe that whoever is a squad leader has the right to set what bounds they want for their squad of four knights so there were no complaints there. As time went on, this continued, they died a couple of times, either got someone else or myself to revive them, or revived themselves one too many times. I even dropped my health capsules for the player so that they could heal themselves.
Upon getting into the later half of Tier 1 where we were to face the Snarbolax, our numbers became fewer until it was just him/her and I vs the beast. A greater half of the damage was dealt upon this other knight who did not care to listen to advice or follow my lead, which assured my survival, with no matter how much health I had left due to healing them. As this knight cursed upon the several times they died, they could only revive themselves to an extent as they must have been taking the elevators using mist energy. Upon the last time they died, they were unable to survive. They were technically done for and I could not revive with 1 bar of health left.
By chance of lag (the common killer of many knights) I somehow died. I'm not sure what happened during the time my screen froze and me dropping but that is often enough the case. I nearly resolved to stay dead but I figured that it would not hurt to gain a few extra tokens upon victory so I revived myself once, stunned the beast a few, gave it enough shots worthy of death, and won that round without the aid of my slain companion. All the while we all were traveling down whichever gate I conveniently forget the name of, the leader was cursing at us, rushing us, and dying occasionally. Now...
Here he lay slain, unable to resurrect himself, and the last battle to a tier 1 boss had come to an end. There were healing platforms just short of the gate, all of the loot and minerals for the taking, and the exit just beyond all of that. I was left with a choice. Do I raise someone who cost their own team its manpower, patience, and available life upon reviving the leader itself? For once I talked back to the leader but after a few exchanges, I did not see it to be necessary to carry on an argument so I revived'em and made for the gate.
That was just about when they cursed me more, said they f$&#ed my mum and then moved to kick me from his game. It didn't bother me much. But that experience left me wondering, should I have revived them or should I have gotten on the gate, leaving them devoid of the tokens that were earned from me killing the Snarborlax?
The problem is, everything is shared. Crowns shared, minerals shared and mats are randomly distributed. So yeah, you can just forget him and let him lie, he wont be worse for wear (except maybe 2 less minerals per person which is a whole SIX CROWNS, EGAD!).
I would of left the party long ago, making my own. If not, then I probably would have poked him a bit while he was dead on the floor. Probably sat on him, ask him how's his day been, bring up the weather, talk about the Olympics, you know... random small talk :D
