Hello all, new player here loving the game, just hit t2 and have a question. Some of my new recipes calls for grave soil. I know ghosts and zombies drop it, but how do I find a level with them in it? do I pick a gate in the clockworks and keep going down until I find a level? or are they random? just seeing if I'm missing something.

I know I could just buy it, but the most fun I have in this game is getting my own mats for my own gear. Thanks for the help guys!

Gates have a map that shows in advancewich levels you'll face.

gate map, monster codes

Right. Inspect each gate's gate map. Look for icons with a light blue foreground color, which indicates undead --- for example, a light blue tombstone (Graveyard) or a light blue sprocket (undead-themed randomly generated level).

Wiki is your Hero

Go to the wiki and search for "grave soil". It'll tell you which monsters drop, and where. Since you already know that, use the wiki to find the names of their locations, then use the gate-map in the Arcade to find stratums with many of those levels.

When in the clockworks, click at the gear on the top left of your screen and select gate-map. That way you can see which level comes next. They cycle about every 5-7 minutes, usually in the direction of the arrows. If there are ?'s instead of arrows, you're SOL, as it is random. Happy zombie hunting!

Regular snarb has a few

Regular snarb has a few undead, in the 2nd level. Honestly, they're not that prevalent in Snarbolax.

Better to head to a graveyard or Scarlet Mansion if you want those.
