I'm just wondering if I have a Vog Cub set with an extra UV "fire resistance low."
Then will I catch fire when I am attacked by any form of fire damage?
As I know,I will never catch fire when I'm wearing a Vog Cub set with UV "fire resistance medium."
Well,but how about "low"?
I'm really curious about that.
Hope there is somebody who have tried this to answer my question.
Thanks a lot !
A question about Vog Cub Coat with fire resistance UV
I'm not even going to try to read the comment above.
Anyway, to answer the question:
You can still catch fire no matter how much resistance you have, but the damage and duration will be reduced. The maximum useful amount of resistance is double max + high. (The built-in Vog resistance on each piece is equivalent to a max UV.)
Hope that helps.
Full vog + any UV will keep you from catching fire from oil. Just regular full vog will keep you from catching fire from haze bombs. Anything else will merely be reduced, rather than prevented entirely.
So...to sum up,
I won't catch fire from "oil" if I wear a vog cub set with fire resistance "low"
But I will still catch fire from other kind of fire damage.
Is that so?
There are dfferent levels of fire (this is easily shown on weapons with a status)
For exampe Ash of Agni causes 'Minor' fire, while magma driver causes 'Moderate' fire.
You can become 100% immune to the weaker versions of fire. Oil falls in that category.
The stronger fires will get reduced damage or duration, but not immunity.
you still will catch on fire just not as long as before it really just adds to the resist not much but just takes the count of how long it you are getting burned but still take some damage less than what u take without the uv. but still but than rather add a med of something like freeze, shock, curse, or poison med uv to it so you have something besides just fire resist because armor has it and should have basis covered.
