Hey, jsut wondering if Glacius' charge will break off ice that was formed by previous explosions. Like, when you freeze something on the first explosion, would the 2nd explosion break the ice?

Since the enemy will be... frozen in place, the next explosion may not touch him to begin with.

yes, you can cascade freezes

I think that you're really asking: If I freeze a monster with a Glacius charge, and then release another charge on it, will the monster end up frozen or unfrozen?

The answer is: The second charge, because it hits the monster, breaks the freeze. However, the second charge also has a good chance of freezing the monster. So it is not at all uncommon for the monster to get immediately refrozen. Sometimes you can keep a monster in perpetual freeze until it dies.

It is indeed possible for

It is indeed possible for monsters to be frozen and unfrozen in the same charge; I've seen it many times, when I use Glacius against slag walkers. It is due to the monster being positioned right between 2 explosions. Keep that in mind at all times, don't unleash a Glacius charge and assume you are safe.

If you want to be 100% safe, use a Combuster instead. The loss of fire status damage is minimal; it's the elemental damage type that counts.

As a Glacius user...

I can confirm that charging an already frozen mob will usually refreeze the mob. This is due to the fact that there is a time delay between the damage and status ticks. If you watch closely, the damage ticks of first, then the status about a second later. So while the damage can break freeze, the delay means that you can refreeze with about 80% reliability.
