how many times have some one left taking the end gate to haven and droped 3 health capsuls and a higher vita pod then the one you currently have? or one of your favorite viles? or a roboknight kit? well why not have the items they had be dropped AFTER the remaining players land to the next floor so they can use them.
change to exit gate idea.
Or how about...
Just adding this? Seriously, there are always people that don't even actually consider that people might need the stuff they are carrying around(granted, these are total newbies/morons then). And even if you know you should drop your stuff, you might forget it anyway. It happens. Or rushing too fast into dat elevator without energy left and nobody is willing to pay for you(it's unlikely, I know).
Bad excuse aside, what harm could this addition do? I can't think of any scenario were it could be of any disadvantage to have such a feature. Maybe that people have to communicate less, but really, is that a disadvantage? People would leave with or without that feature, but with that feature, you at least have a chance to get their gear afterwards.
So click on that caps-button again to turn it off, keep calm and give a reason why it shouldn't be implented? Sure, communication, but these people would probably leave regardless of the feature, with the difference that the rest of the team wouldn't get a penalty for the leavers poor communication skills.
to little jua, that is fine but is the idea of some guy leaving with out even doing that! im just not considering his team with 1/2 bars might need his health pill.
This is a really good idea. Adding on to Kazujaxyz's list of reasons why this should be implemented, some knights are completely oblivious to the fact that they can drop things. Plus, there's always that one knight who says nothing when you ask the group whether they're going down or up, and ends up being a knight going up with really valuable items.
+1
Say, does anywhere in the game even tell you that you can drag and drop items? I don't recall it at all. I only know because someone else mentioned it when this happened in our party (this being well before missions actually existed though).
I can certainly agree to having dropped items transfer to the next floor, but I also think actually making the feature more obvious would help, if it isn't already made obvious and I was just being oblivious when I played through the rank missions.
i figured out the drag trick my self thinking they would have some thing like that when i was i think 2 staring. got no help from the game -_- the smug thing thinking it could hide its features from me!
I wanted to drop a healing pill for another guy, but I didn't had any idea how to do it. I simply dragged the pill out of the circle because of instinct, as I already played many games where this kind of inventory management worked :P
They should really tell you 'bout that feature one time or another.
But, as there are always people who are oblivious to these things, we should add this feature here anyway.
You can drop things while you're downed as well, by the way.
If you have a health pill but your party member only has half a pip you can give them the pill so they can get enough HP to revive.
HOW ABOUT YOU....
PEOPLE LEARN TO TALK WITH THEMSELVES AND ASK BEFORE ELEVATOR IF EVERYONE ARE GOING DOWN AND TELL THEM TO DROP STUFF?
