Hello everyone,

I made the mistake of listening to some of the Spiral Knights music today an it reawakened my itch to play. Ive been gone since around January and was curious if new content and gear has made my old stuff obsolete.
As follows the stuff I remember:

Divine Avenger
Gran Faust
BTB
Polaris
Silversix
Blackhawk
Shivermist buster
Blitz needle

Gray owlite shield
BTS
Crest of Almire

Vog set
Skolver set

I have some gunner/bomber gear but it was a work in progress when I left. Thank you in advance for any information and I look forward to logging in again soon!

Just a few things you should know

Argent Peacemaker and Sentenza are now guns. No longer elemental/pierce and shadow/pierce guns, but elemental and shadow guns. AP gives Undead medium and Sent gives Gremlin Medium. Other than that you seem fine! Welcome back knight of the Spiral Order!

Interesting!

With silversix and blackhawk becoming pure versions of themselves it almost feels like i got an upgrade. Good stuff! Thanks for the post.

there is now more content

there is now more content than just Vanaduke / SL since January :3

You'll want a Dread Skelly Shield and a Dragon Scale Shield most likely. Depending on how good you are at keeping Toxoils from lighting on fire in Compound 42, you may also want to invest in Dragon Scale armor.

For Compound 42, I'd honestly prioritize Dragon Scale Helm/Mail over the shield.

Also, the Sealed Sword lines have fallen out of popularity somewhat, due to a combination of Brandishes getting a buff to their charge attack, and the introduction of the Warmaster Rocket Hammer, a reward from the DLC mission. They're still perfectly serviceable weapons, just a little less ubiquitous.

Nah

Don't bother with Dragon Scale. Just equip full Vog Cub and slap a fire UV or trinket so you'll be immune to oil-fire. Poison did not suddenly become a threatening status since last time you were logged on.

Dragon Scale Shield is the bees knees there though.
