yep
yep but im on steam so... but when i launch the game before it goes to the updating screen it pulls up a java pop-up saying "0% complete the application failed to launch due to the following error :invalid path 'getdown.txt' " then says please vist (gives no website)for info on how to handle such problems" any help?!?!?!?!?!

I am having problems with patches since the ( Heart of Ice ) patch , before it everything was fine , but now everytime there is a patch I say -_- another problem will happen

Yeah, I've been having the download issue for the last few updates now. What does work for me, at the suggestion of someone in here, is opening up the game's properties menu in Steam, and then using the "Verify game cache integrity" option; it seems to force the rest of the download to complete and verify within the Steam client, and I'm able to play just fine. At this point, I'd love to see the updates completely handled through Steam, since it's usually a very reliable process most of the time. Obviously none of this stuff applies if you're not playing through Steam.

Not so sure....
I dont know about it being a queue....My game patches quickly every time......I think you guys need to check firewall/antivirus settings. If that doesn't work forward ports in your router.
