I played a few games of Lockdown with the newfangled shard bombs today, and noticed the following:

• I can body-block my own shards. If I set a bomb and then do not move, none of the shards will fire. If I move slightly over, the shards that would fire in my direction do not fire.

• Shards block themselves. If I set a bomb slightly to the side of another bomb, it won't fire shards towards the other bomb's shards, meaning that the shards effectively only appear about every other bomb.

These things together make it very difficult to effectively set the new bombs. I hope they can be addressed soon, as I've been looking forward to seeing how they behave in the field.
