I think it is truly stupid there should be unbinding/unbinding.OOO should at least make the unbinding costs cheaper!
Flashback:I unbinded DA and was gonna sell it.My idiot brother got on my account and equipped DA and now its binded again.-RAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Get rid of Binding/Unbinding!^&(^*^&&%&^%^^&%^%^%^%^
Oh yes, we shall change a game mechanic just because someone lets their dumb brother on their account.
Sorry, no. Never. Not in a million years.
Your brother could have done all kinds of other things: vendored it; given it away; spent all your crowns rolling on it; abused other players in chat until you got banned; etc. Binding is not the problem here.
Never share it with your bro if he was goign to do that.
You should have different accounts for different people anyways.
Hence why I literally have a seperate computer and office away from my family and friends.
TRUST NOT FOUND.
Also you just bought yourself a bad rep on the forums now.
You screwed yourself over.
Taken from the TOS,
9. Your Account is Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible and entirely liable for all activities conducted through your account and/or your User ID, even if your account has been compromised through no fault of your own. Three Rings encourages you to maintain the confidentiality of your password, and reminds you that you do not have a license to let others use your account. You agree to notify Three Rings immediately in the event your password is lost, stolen, disclosed or compromised. It is not Three Rings' policy to ask for your password online, and Three Rings suggests that you never respond to an on-line request for your password. You acknowledge that although the Site, Services and/or Games may offer a feature that allows you to "remember" your password and thereby bypass the password protection, this feature makes it possible for third parties to access your account and User ID. Three Rings strongly discourages the use of the password bypass feature, which will in any event be at your own risk.
Or if using steam, log out when you're not in front of the computer... actually, in that case, why ARENT you locking your computer down when you leave it?
Also, you should only unbind right before you make the trade or post to AH.
You could sit on the unbound item for a week trying to sell it, locking up your CE in the unbinding and not allowing you to do something else (like if you happen upon a good sale.)
what the title says
I pity if that was yer lifelong hardwork.
I shrug it off if it was yer real money spent on the game.
But at the same time, I pity for yer time loss.
I also think that binding / unbinding is kinda usless... There's only bad points, that if you equip it, you can't give it to anyone else, or sell it. I agree with Battlee that prices of unbinding should be reduced.
There's one thing people avoided to do something sinister, Cookie-Alex.
Stealing information of somebody's account.
We know people would only fancy crowns, and CE if it was done. But ye sure ye want this happen to undo the bind/unbinds?
Because once it's reverted to no binds, an unlucky soul would jump their ship sooner.
never share accounts, even with your mother, i'm not insulting anyone here, i'm serious.
Once my mum deleted lots of stuff on my computer by accident, took an eternity to find them all, so she uses a separate user now.
make a support ticket, I mean if you just unbound it then rebound it, its obviously a mistake, an expensive mistake, support should be able to help you even if a one-time gesture
you could suggest a way to "lock" a weapon for trading so that you cant bind it by mistake
All the "hurr durrp you messed up" at the OP aside, the unbind costs are ridiculous now that they've added the supply depot. Them pricings. I don't understand them. :(
they should make the unbind prices same as the cost to craft it
ex:
2 star=50
3 star=200
4 star=400
8 star=800
this guy wants to get rid of binding and unbinding.
If you disagree please give your reason WHY...
The reason for that May 5th is because players get to endgame more faster.
They wanted to keep players playing, and get more money.
And plus, a newb who instantly get 5* via trading will get owned in T3, and then requests nerfs.
You've seen what happened to those Wolvers.
"2 star=50
3 star=200
4 star=400
8 star=800"
Wow really?
Please tell me you're trolling.
You even got the prices wrong.
Or you don't let your idiot brother on your account.
