Which would you prefer and why? I'm confused with what I should I buy from the above three.
Mega Magnus, Strike Needle or Shadow Alchemer MKIII?
Thanks shoebox, but the mega magnus is great on pvp *O*
but the shadow alchemer, haven't tried it yet. O_o
in terms of pvp and doing gates, the shadow mkIII still wins?
The Mega Magnus is weaker? o.O That's a joy-kill :(
Personally I do prefer the Magnus due to its 100% piercing damage. But if the mega version is bugged/badly-balanced still then yeah Alchemer would be better :p
I have the Shadowtech Alchemer MkIII at level 10 right now, and I must say, I'm rather disappointed. It inflicts Elemental damage, rather than Shadow. Thinking that it would do Shadow damage, I was hoping to own with it in PvP since most people don't stack on Shadow defense; however, green health bars fell instead of purple when I was hitting others with it. Damage-wise, it's pretty high - no status inflict though. When I bought it, I thought it would inflict some sort of status, such as curse, like the other Alchemers can (except for the Prismatech).
Regardless, out of the three that you've listed, I'd say go with the Alchemer anyway.
Well I'm only going off what I've been told and what I've seen, it could just be a bugged tooltip causing it to display incorrect stats.
The Shadowtech mkIII is bugged doing elemental damage, that will get fixed so it does shadow.
The Mega Magnus does the correct amount of damage and is better than the regular Magnus, but unfortunately it has a lesser value shown on the tooltip. A handful of other weapons had the same issue. These fixes will be coming to a release near you soon too!
Well i made my mega magnus yesterday and im very impressed the only problem im having is choosing whitch one to make iron slug or callahan cause they both rock :)
It almost made it to the one year mark, you couldn't have just left it to rest.
Dem people be inconsiderate to the dead
Well the Strike Needle I think is an unskinned alternative to the Autogun/Pepperbox.
The Mega Magnus is apparently, less powerful than the regular Magnus.
So, ol' reliable Alchemer seems to be the best bet.
