Can anyone tell me which sword they prefer: Brandish series(3-star) or Sealed Sword and why?

I dislike 2 swing swords.

I dislike 2 swing swords. However, I use a Faust and a Brandish; DA isn't that much better than the Burst series(especially if you just don't favor the 2-swing playstyle), but Faust is much better than Nightblade.

DA is meant for burst dmg

DA is meant for burst dmg with the charge attack while GF has raw power.

Then again there's also the matter of what you are fighting against.

What Magus1d14 is saying is true

Depending on what you are fighting both weapon series are good. I personally would suggest the Sealed Sword series because of the avenger that does really good damage on the construct family. Also Faust is so much better than Night blade I think personally

The knockback on a slow

The knockback on a slow sword's swings will create enough space for you to run if necessary unlike any other sword types.

The thing is that Every Brandish but the Nightblade can inflict either Fire or Ice only with their charge attack.
Divine Avenger is just pure power.

But the Faust can inflict curse where the Nightblade cannot.

And the Cautery Blade is somewhat neglected.

Overall the Brandishes are better for DPS and Status conditions, but survivability the Sealed Sword will take you further.

I'd rather see someone take 5* Brandish into Firestorm Citadel and another person take a DA into there to see who performs better.

Personally, comparing Avenger

Personally, comparing Avenger and Blazebrand on Zombies in a T3 Graveyard, Blazebrand did a lot better for me for survivability; it seems to have exactly the right amount of knockback to push them out of melee range while keeping you in third strike range. The charge attack is also nice for setting a very large group of them on fire(although this is useless in the citadel), and doing pretty monstrous damage on its own.

On an almost unrelated note, Final Flourish does very, very well at making fast work of Phantoms; again, perfectly balanced knockback to hit range ratios.
