I tried to reinstall SK today. I updated my Java to 7, then install SK through both the site or installer, no go. I gave up on Java 7 and revert back to Java 6 and everything works.
That's my experience for today. I dont know much about the inner workings of windows. Any idea whats going on why Java 7 does not work in my case?
Did you tried to do fresh install of java 7? Its a big update, you should try to uninstall java 6 from youc omputer and then use application to completly remove old java
search for javara app
then install fresh java 7
