As we all know, OOO has been making a lot of mstakes lately. What do you believe they should do to prevent such future screwups?
My advice:
1. Set deadlines. And announce it to the community.
I understand that this change would risk missing the deadline and dissapointing the community.
However, the community will, instead of being discouraged and believing that a bug will never be fixed, know that OOO is working.
I also understand that OOO will be putting pressure on themselves.
However, I believe that at least a little presure will be necessary to keep the game going. No bug (stun) should go unfixed for more than 4 months.
If the bug is really that difficult, brainstorm someway to circumvent it. Or ask Sega for help.
2. Think long term rather than short term.
a. Fix the bugs before creating new content.
b. Concentrate more on the gameplay than the art (shard bombs).
c. Find a permanent way to control the market, rather than forcing a boom-bust through promos and mass crafting bonuses.
"Set deadlines."
That's the worst they could do. You want rushed content like this hunter promo? No? Then let them take their time.
"Fix the bugs before creating new content."
Sadly, they can't just tell bugs "FIX YOURSELF YO".
"Find a permanent way to control the market, rather than forcing a boom-bust through promos and mass crafting bonuses."
Suggestions?
