Greetings fellow knights!

So my latest idea is water levels,as newer players have seen in the first stage(before rescue camp) there is a river, however in the game itself there is no

water! So,i propose water levels with completely new monsters(as there are virtually no aquatic monsters). There would be 2 types only though, one in a

river where you start in a nearby forest and as you go down further, you enter the river and head down to a water fall,or by a different route, the rivers

starting point in a mountain(a series of pools, look it up) and there would be a boss in both routes,waterfall- 3 tadpole like monsters and at the river base

a frog and toad whose battle would be like Gleeok from legend of zelda phantom hourglass(a bit hard to explain so look up a vid please) then the other type

would be an ocean where you start at a shore and proceed down to the dark depths where a viperfish like boss would await you.In general, the levels

would be recommended to have 4 star equipment as the monsters would be the size of a wolver and larger posing a bigger threat. My vision for these

monsters would be large freshwater fish as well as aquatic birds like darters and many amphibians,as for the ocean, larger reef fish and other creatures

that dwell in the open ocean as well as aquatic reptiles like the marine iguana, plus many crustacean-esque monsters.I have a large knowledge of marine

animals so if you want examples or have an idea for a monster but want to be realistic,i can help tremendously with this, not so much freshwater fish though
-Thanks for your time

Huh I suppose...

Huh, I suppose there aren't any water levels. Then again. what weapons would be good against the water monsters? They would kind of have to make a whole new thing of weaponry. As good as it is, you would have to make sure the monsters dame infliction are the sammeas some now. +1

My response

Water levels are not needed, as we do not have water type swords. Levels are down in the clockworks. Some are the clockworks (No type), poison levels, fire level, etc... Compound 42 is a mixed type (Poison and fire), so I am not sure why we should take water levels. Some clockwork levels have nothing, construct, etc.

We do not have any weapon that goes against water types. We would need to have something that is strong against it like maybe grass types. And those types do not exist so it's best to stick with what we have.

Good suggestion, but water levels cannot exist. Only the safe places have water. The fountain in Haven, etc.. It only appears in the outside world of Cradle currently. We have water balls too

I beg to differ, fire obviously would be weak towards water but shock would be strong against it as water is a big conductor,so the only new things needed would be monsters and levels

also water would not become a status effect either and water is safe in inhabited areas of cradle, these would be natural bodys not touched by the spiral order, strangers,or gremlins thus explaining why everything is new

Would their be a UV with the

Would their be a UV with the shock type weapons saying "Damage Vs Water Medium"? Also true, water levels should exist. There are construct and slime levels and they do not appear as types.

For the water levels, I give it a 1+.

Water levels

We have an Ice levels, so I don't see why not. Would be funny if they contained the "underwater-level-physics-of-doom". +1

I was thinking of a free roam

I was thinking of a free roam level, where you just walk around, fighting monsters, and where there is nothing you have to do, just roam freely walking from ice levels to grass (normal) levels. Just like minecraft :D.

May your fezzez be on your heads, and your Sonic opening doors.

Why new elements and stuff.

Fish/toad/octopus/whatever fit into beasts. Or fiends if they are corrupted/evil. No need to overcomplicate a system that works.

Stuff we want more

While I'd be fine with having shallow water that interacts slightly with status conditions etc., actual water (that you swim in, not wade in) is complicated and there are many things we want much more.

Did you know that water is actually a horrible conductor? Wet stuff and salt water are great, but pure water is actually a pretty bad conductor.

"Three tadpole like monsters"

What are they going to do, wiggle you to death?

All in all, this "suggestion" is just a collection of scenarios that lack detail or explanation. How do you propose weapons will work underwater? I don't think mist from a mist bomb will spread really well through a river, and underwater shockwaves travel much further than shockwaves in the air.

shallow areas woudlnt effect you but underwater would slow you and your weapon speed, and the tadpoles are just a base idea,a catfish monster could be better but again,im still thinking of monsters that could fit,and yes they would be in beast, poison, and fiend.

bombs would work as is but like you said some will be impared, the mist bomb could do its thing as if it boiled the water perhaps? and take it easy, suggestions are just that, simple ideas, then depending on peoples reactions you expand

Somethings no one has thought about.

For example, what about making these fish beasts? I'm not sure about a boss area, but when I clicked this I thought it would be more like Aura Isles, where the levels are predefined but without a boss or any order that they come in. Maybe air could be implemented and maybe speed could be changed.

I was considering to make it like a free roam esque type level, the ocean type due to its expanse, and i suppose i could see it without a boss but the river levels would be like other clockworks and that frog and toad idea i really like, and i posted a response about water effects earlier too so just scroll up^^ but this is a very vague idea you must admit, there are countless possibilities with water so im trying to consider alot of said possibilities but as you can imagine,it takes awhile,so do stay tuned
