F2P players are reaching 45k prestige, any plans for it?

Well, I just reached 45k prestige and other partners are nearing it. I know other people already reached it, but I don't know if OOO predicted this, but due to the Danger Missions, prestige gained increased a lot. Soon, "prestige" may not mean much, though there are people who don't bother much with the missions... though newcomers are encouraged to try the Mission System.

I know we have enough fire in the forum with other topics (bombs, updates, UV tickets, promos, CE prices, etc...) but anyone would like to share thoughts about the Prestige points, discuss what could be made with it etc?

Also, could anyone from OOO say if there is any plan to add more to it? People have suggested things like being it related to Guilds, or to getting looks etc, any idea you would like of them?

Prestige meant something to begin with?

At the 75k prestige mark, everytime someone, whose account is less than 30 days old, initiates a trade for you, it will automatically be accepted and you will give them 1,000 cr.

It's called a robin hood badge. Except you're the rich and you're being stolen from.

Shouldn't you rename this to "Players are reaching 45k prestige, any plans for it?" because even though you are F2P and have reached 45k prestige, that isn't at all different from a P2P reaching 45k prestige.

They're assuming that p2p players do the 4/5 star Arms Appropriation turnins and thus hit it a while ago.

Ew no.

Dear god I hope they don't release more. I don't want to have to grind for prestige forever once a day.

Or you can simply stop caring

Or you can simply stop caring about prestige until OOO finally do something actually useful with it. Which won't be happening for a long time.

lol @ sypsy

I agreed with Traevelliath, when does prestige mean anything anyway? The onli use for that badge is to attract beggars.

It means what it takes to get it.... that you have either played a significant amount and earned the badge, or that you have payed money into the game.

I regularly throw money at

I regularly throw money at this game and I'm still not even a Vanguard. I don't really get the point of saying it's a pay to win thing here when it's literally whoever can do the dailies EVERY DAY.

I'm trying really hard to understand how P2Pers have the advantage here when you can easily get your prestige every day with mist? And you only have 2-3 prestige missions you CAN do daily, it's not like you can just opt to do a dozen or more a day.

Either way, though, kudos to you F2P guys on making it this far, too. I don't have that kind of patience. 8C

@Addy

P2Pers with enough $ to spend (and very rich F2P merchants) can afford to turn in 5* weapons every time that mission comes up. Most F2Pers cannot. That's where the prestige advantage comes from.

Ahh, right, forgot about

Ahh, right, forgot about those. Which is silly because that's what I had today! D:

What are TF2 traders

What are TF2 traders considered? F2P or P2P?

A very lawyerly question.

I approve. :P

I'd say P2P for the purposes of this discussion. What's relevant is whether you're injecting resources earned outside the game, rather than whether you actually paid money.
