More hidden stats on weapons

With people out there number crunching and spending their time power leveling Unique Variant weapons to get better weapons than more casual players, I only ask one thing

I want more hidden numbers behind weapons. Things that are very difficult if not impossible to control that slightly or even greatly influence the final weapon's damage, attack speed, and other stats. Something that can make weapons more or less worthwhile based almost entirely on factors the player can in no way control.

That way casual players have at least a small chance to get better weapons. Arguably, hardcore players can still try for better weapons by just making weapons en masse until they find one that seems the best, but making it more difficult to control will be better in the long run for casual players.

Note: I mean only bonuses should be random. Don't randomly punish players for making a weapon, that's not nice.

How is this any different

How is this any different than unique variants, other than you dont know what the bonus is? You cant control what your unique variant is anyways, you can only grind and hope for a good outcome.

I disagree, we don't need

I disagree, we don't need more hidden stats on weapons. If anything we need the weapons to show more info. There's a big talk over in the general forum right now about Leviathan Blade and Cold Iron Vanquisher having the save Attack bar but LB doing about 30% higher damage. Currently as long as its not a UV, all weapons of a type do the same thing. All at does this much damage to this enemy on this this floor(not including UVs or Armor bonuses to damage).

What you are suggesting is adding randomness to the weapons, so your weapon could do say... 50 damage a hit, while your friends could do 70 a hit and attack faster(due to the hidden bonuses on his weapon). And there would be no way to know until you equip it, binding it to you, and testing it out.

You mention the hardcore players power leveling UV weapons. Why is that a bad thing? There's currently no PvP, so other people having strong weapons has no impact on you other then you might reap the bonus when you randomly get partied with them. And you can not sell a weapon to another player after you equip it, so its not like they're leveling them and reselling them at inflated prices you can never afford.

Although... it would be funny to see "WTS Level 10 Divine Avenger, UV Attack Damage Increased: Very High... 1,000,000 CE"
