I haven't played for quite awhile (last update I remember was energy blasts)
Can anyone fill me in on the major changes that have happened since then? I've been doing these "mission" things a lot... it's a little confusing.
However, my main question is this:
I remember that the Antigua guns used to do split damage, making it for the most part pointless to get them. Now it seems as though they don't? Are they good now? Are they worth investing in?
Yes, yes they are good now, regardless of the suicidal charge attack.
AP would make a good investment as a sidearm for swordies and bombers for their mobility, and to handle turrets. For Gunslingers, AP is a poor source of damage compared to the Drivers b/c of their ricochet. AP is great for single targets, and Nova lets you handle groups with ease if one uses the ricochet properly especially by spamming the Driver charge.
Sentenza, on the other hand, is a viable gun for all. Its bullets are fast and can snipe down menders easily. Its pure shadow lets it also be useful against slimes. Again, it provides mobility; but unlike AP/Nova relationship, it may be on par with Umbra Driver IMO.
To sum it up:
Swordies and Bombers: AP and Sentenza, great for turret and mender killing.
Gunslingers: For AP; consider Drivers instead. For Sent; a good gun to use against gremlins and slimes.
