Questions regarding Lockdown.

Here are some questions I have for lockdown. Most of them quite possibly all will make barely any difference, but then again I am just curious.
1. Do killing rock jellies count as damage? Occasionally I run into a rock jelly and kill it. Does it boost my score?
2. Do status effects count as damage? For example, if I curse someone and they kill themselves, will that give me a lot of damage?
3. Does it count as negative damage or something if I curse myself and end up damaging myself?
4. How do you use the pills and things that drop from rock jellies?
5. I noticed that death warning either greatly increases the recon's attack or greatly decreases the opponent's defense?
Okay these are the questions I have for now. It would help a lot if some of you guys can answer this but... I don't expect most of you to know.

Yeah I remember on my third or fourth lockdown game a vitapod dropped. I had it the whole round because when I died, it re-spawned with me. Didn't help me much considering I was all 4 stars at that time with a weapon of dread venom striker. Anyways thanks for your help

1-3: Don't worry about damage so much. The optimal amount of damage is the amount that allows you to capture and hold points. If you ignore CPs in search of more enemies, there's a good chance you'll lose.
5: For more information on how lockdown classes work, read the Lockdown article on the wiki.
...Personally, I try never to kill the rock jellies. As a guardian, it's easy to dodge whatever damage he does, and Jelly Buddy makes for a great distraction when the other team arrives. He's especially great against flourish users.

2. Fire/shock count as your damage. I don't know about curse - I used to think it counted to the person who cursed, but I heard about an old damage glitch that suggested that the cursed person was the one who 'earned' the damage.
3. See 2.
5. Removes the target's defense. I don't know if it counts for status resists, but it definitely affects the raw damage. Valiance (normal damage) can kill Skolvers in 3-4 hits with Deathmark.

That actually did happen. What a waste of a vitapod. @Pauling and Seiran thanks for your help!
3. I doubt it.
4. You can't, as far as I've heard. If a Vitapod drops, it's effect is immediate (as long as OOO haven't fixed that yet), otherwise vials and the like can't be used.
5. It removes all of the marked player's armour defence. It should say that in the Recon description somewhere...
