Heat roundup?

Has anybody noticed that at the completion of a level, a little extra heat is added that you didn't earn? It usually comes in small portions, but there was one time my 5* weapon had just reached level 9 at the end of one level, and at the start of the next level, it had suddenly almost finished level 9! That's about half a bar of free heat. On a 5* weapon, that's a TON of free heat. Stealth patch, anyone?

It's called Heat Amplifier.
At the end of the level it shows only the heat you've gotten that level, but it doesn't count the other heat you've gotten with your heat amp.
do you have a heat amp?
