Which one is more useful overall?
Divine Vs Vog
Divine is useful if you want to give your friends heat, and really earn that halo.
Vog is useful if you want to contribute more than heat for your buddies.
In T3 monsters do pure shadow, elemental, piercing damage. So having Divine Veil in elemental or shadow stages is optimal and having Skolver in normal and pierce dmg (beast and slime).
I cant think of many enemies that don't deal normal damage on T3 and hit easily. besides bats perhaps, I'm not sure.
Here is my armor layout:
I use Skolver Coat and Divine Veil. That way I have 1/4 of each defense + the damage rate on fiends is HIGH. I find fiends to be very challenging in tier 3. So I think it is pretty useful.
As for speed, all you have to worry about is if your weapon is at least a UV of medium attack speed.
So overall if you have:
Skolver Coat + Divine Veil + Sword (not the nooby faust/avenger): UV: Medium attack speed + 4 or 5 star shield = You'll be fine in tier 3.
Now you won't be super powerful in defense or attack. Nor you'll be super weak in defense or attack. For me personally. I like this layout, because it is not so easy for me, and it is not so hard for me when I face enemies in tier 3. =)
Little off topic:
Oh yeah, my weapon layout is Winmillion and Silversix. Good combo ;)
Oh yeah, if you have a Winmillion make sure to herd the monsters like sheep, and "kill" them in a corner! xD Works every time!

You literally could not be more incorrect.
You'd have to pay me to use that lame Vog set, but AT THE MOMENT, it's the optimal set to use if you plan on doing Citadel runs, which is one of the only reasons people go into the 2nd half of T3 anyways?
The attack speed buff on it is about as noticeable as the attack speed debuff on Volcanic Plate set. So it might as well not even be there.

what tier 3 fiends are u fighting that are so hard?
The Devil-Its that got "fired" from the Boss-Its. When you get a couple of them throwing pitch forks at you, it is difficult to dodge them, since they are coming from all directions. It is important to take them out as soon as possible. Same goes with the ghost kittys. They dexterity is very quick compared to tier 1 and tier 2, they are more likely to bite your foot off. That is why it is important to take them out fast and as soon as possible before they start throwing bunches of junk at me.

...uh, no? It's actually quite noticable. Maybe you should stop taking downers before playing the game or something.
Also, seriously guys, stop responding to Matoro, he deliberately uses bad things or talks about using bad things deliberately.
Hazel Speaks Truth When it comes to the Increase in attack Speed. It's Extremely noticeable, even if it only says Medium.
Try it out. Grab yourself a Swiftstrike Buckler and give it a go. You'll notice a substantial increase in your Attack Speed. When doing JK runs, I always grab a Vile Striker and a Swiftstrike Buckler. Good stuff.
Just a few forum trolls, Matoro and Hazel.
matoro u do realize the devilites do not do shadow damage right? its all normal damage....
Divine has some nice resists on it, but at the moment not having normal defense isn't the greatest idea. Vog buffs swords, which is obviously nice if you use swords. Throughout most of the line you're stuck with normal/piercing defenses, and there are precious few mobs that do piercing damage. It's not really a big deal in tier 1 or 2, but you'll be missing that elemental defense when you hit tier 3. Obviously at 5* it has normal and elemental defense, which is ideal given the current lineup of enemies in the game, but getting from 4* to 5* can take a while.
