I need somehelp finding the best shadow protection piece 5* with a divine veil
I was thing somewhere down the angelic rainment line or try to get something from shadow lairs once I get a key.
Please respond!

It depends on what kind of
It depends on what kind of enemies you expect to face. Are you facing enemies that deal piercing damage? The fire status effect? Or maybe freeze?
SK is designed to require many different kinds of armor For different situations. If you want a single decent all-around set of armor, consider the 4* ash tail coat + divine veil.... You'll get a little of every kind of defense, and a bit of protection against most of the bad status effects.

The OP wants Shadow/Normal.
Seems pretty clear to me. Get Shadowsun or Snarby depending on whether you're a gunner or a sword-user. Skelly is also fine. Angelic I'd actually recommend against if this is your only Shadow set, as it means you'll be stuck with huge fire weakness until you hit 5*.

Shadowsun- Gun damage + poison resistance
Snarby- Sword damage + half freeze/ half poison res.
---Along the angelic line--
Fallen:
Poison/ Fire res. + ASI low +
Fiend penalty medium + curse penalty
Valkyrie:
Poison + Curse res. + Fiend bonus medium
Fire penalty
Heavenly Iron:
Curse res + Sword damage low + Fiend bonus low
Shock penalty
[Go with the first 2 depending on what weapons you use]

Or you could complete full divine set....
Probably should start by stating what weapon you use.
