I always thought that the LD cycle was Gun>Bomb>Sword>Gun, but w/ all these new bomb updates including the buffs to Big Angry Bomb and Irontech Destroyer, The LD cycle has been almost reversed Swordgun
New Guns (The old ones are not as entertaining anymore TmT)

Buffing Catalyzer, Cryo Driver and Iron Slug are some things that could be done.
-Catalyzer lacks the reliability and damage to make up for atrociously slow bullets, both on regular and charged shots.
-Cryo Driver is redundant, bounce shots break ice, reducing overall effectiveness. Freeze would work on most guns, but Alchemers have ricochets.
Buffing the Cryo Driver to have damage between status and Nova DVR might help
-Iron Slug is plain UP, and is apparently having lots of code problems being buffed.
