Move + Shield + Attack = Everything in SK

If you have two buttons on your meese, you'll need a keyboard to move/shield. If you have three, you can play the game with one hand.

G300 Gaming Mouse

I have a G300 Gaming Mouse, 4 extra buttons. No use for them, just bound my shield onto spacebar. Works a lot better than using one of the mouse keys.

Processing Thoughts of You Always

I have a mouse that cost £4.99 from PC World.
It has two buttons, a scroll, and is optical. For me, that's enough.
It's pretty much a matter of personal preference though.
And yeah, you might find a third (movement) button to be useful, but I always prefer WASDing...

It's pointless, Spiral

It's pointless, Spiral Knights doesn't even recognize extra mouse buttons, at least not in my experience.

Also this doesn't belong in the Arsenal.

thanks for all the comments :)

i place this under arsenal, cos i felt that the mouse IS considered a weapon ! i tend to use the middle scroll on a mouse as a way to switch weapon - but am considering getting one of those mouse (eg razer death adder) with additional buttons on the side (where the thumb usually is), as a way to switch weapon. it just feels more natural. thanks to everyone for their input - ill probably get a logitech or a razer :)

I used to play with a mouse.

I used to play with a mouse. Being the person that I am, I like speedy weapons. DVS was my first 5* weapon and I believe AP was my second. All that clicking made my arm ache in the end so I started prototyping a macro for a hold-to-shoot (a.k.a. turbo) button. But I also checked out the ToS and it was a bit unclear so I mailed them and asked if I were allowed to do this. They said I was not but I was also recommended to get a gamepad.

So, in other words, gamepads are the official tools of playing SK ;)
I roll with a wired Xbox 360 gamepad. It's the bomb, even though I'm a swordie!

Game pad

Interesting ! I always thought WASD n a mouse is necessary for precise movement. Then again, I thought turbo buttons are a bad idea ? Cos u wanna one shot or two shot, then shield ?

Don't need percision for the

Don't need percision for the toothpick really because of it's wide arc, and Auto Target makes things even easier for those who use it. Gunning is about the only thing it's really necesary for. Easier to turn and dash with a game pad imho, plus more buttons on the controller are very useful.
