Canozo raised a very valid point about your rules, and I suggest you get right to having a strict ruleset, if only so that you can appear as if you have any idea what you're doing. Right now, this is about as organized as a barfight. Some points on where to start could be defining if one is allowed to...
...go behind the spawn barrier at all?
...change class mid-duel?
...change loadout mid-duel? (A haze bomber might want to do this should their opponent have immunity UVs!)
...move while the referee is counting down?
...cloak while the referee is counting down?
...shield while the referee is counting down?
...charge an attack while the referee is counting down? (Someone using bombs or brandishes could definitely need this to stand a chance!)
...use heart pads present in the stage such as in Downtown or Arena?
...inquire with the audience to help them find their opponent should they attempt guerrilla tactics?
...use snowballs, rockets and water balls?

What happens if one of the players attempt to win the match by capturing all the points and winning through points?
What happens if a player has to leave mid-match?
What happens if someone from the audience interferes?
What happens if the match timer runs out?

Exactly how far from eachother should the contestants stand during the countdown? Do you have an exact distance on this?
How do you intend to spot people using auto-target via a hotkey they can easily not use when asked to attack next to the referee?

These matters are crucial when hosting a tournament over a million crowns. Without answering questions such as these, you're not appearing very serious at all, but rather as sleazy scammers who could, oh I dunno, rig Feller to win by accusing anyone coming close to beating him of using auto-target, thus swiping an easy million crowns.

This is a tournament where feller didn't decide to post rules, since you would find that one little grey area and [rain] him with hate comments. I'm imagining that you CANNOT go behind the barrier (unsportsmanlike and cowardly), no healing besides after kills, YES changing classes, YES charging weapons, and YES shielding. if there is a recon and he's allowed to shield while counting down, the ref has to be on the recon's team to make sure that he doesn't go unreasonably close to the opponent. no moving if you're a striker or guardian, no snowballs (again unsportsmanlike.), if you run out of time, you'd have to continue the duel in another game. nothing happens. I say it would be a redo if audience interferes. if its not too much then just leave it.

Feller doesn't use AT, (so we all believe, if he does that's pathetically hypocritical) so in this 'set of 1v1s mainly for fun' there is no AT allowed. But - but - but, Feller has Pierce Max UVs and ASI!

OOO, Make a 1v1 playlist, ban ASI, Max UVs, and Auto Target for those who 'care about playing competitively on a casual game' and I'll be glad to fight people on the most even grounds possible. You can see why you need to establish these rules. I, for one, would've automatically assumed that weapon charging was fine, but movement was not, not unlike how one revs engines at the start line in a car race.

There are many points yet to address in my post, such as snowballs and heart pads found in the arena itself. I have also yet to see how it's established which server to use in an EU vs US situation. The snowballs one is more important than I thought as I would've automatically assumed they're fine, but Redblades seems to assume they're unsportsmanlike and as such aren't.

I'm not setting the rules I'm just saying what I think would be fair.
now that feller says it, I also believe that charging brandishes are annoying as heck.
snowballs just seem unfair because you throw it and it spreads out like a shotgun. then your opponent in the blast is helplessly stunned (even with maxed uv's) while you can throw a gran faust combo wiping out all or most of their HP.

Sounds fun, but I think I'll pass. I've never really been one to compete for prizes.

It does sound like a few things needs establishing before this can actually be done, however. The OP needs a full rule-set for the tournament and more in-depth information on how this is going to play out.

Like previously mentioned; rules. Can't go without them. An auto target clause has already been established, and then there's the no-brainer no healing. Other than that, though, I don't see any rules that have been properly set in stone yet, so I request that the hosts review what should and should not be allowed to make this tournament as fair as possible.

Another issue I've been thinking of is a designated combat area. Some levels come with hazards such as spikes and status traps that could get in the way of the fight, so it would be advised to arrange the designated combat area in a place where environmental hazards are out of the way and where the referree can easily keep the combatants within sight at all times. With the nature of the random stage selection (also depending on the party size) you should plan these out as thoroughly as possible so that you can host these duels in any stage. One should also note the capture points and have neutralizers handy to reset capture points if a duel takes place nearby one, as avoiding stepping on the capture point may be difficult to do in the heat of a battle.

Some people clearly have never heard of the word 'criticism'. Don't post because we disagree with the rules? How laughable.

People have every right to voice their opinion, especially since this is a public forum. You can't just tell people "if you don't like it, go away", because then you become blinded to setbacks that you would not otherwise have picked up on if it weren't for other people calling it out, not to mention sounding incredibly immature.

Several other people have already voiced their disagreements with the 'No-AT' rule. I personally have no problem what rules will be placed in this tournament since I'm not participating. What I DO have a problem with, is Feller's attitude towards the tournament planning and the way he loves to twist people's words around, which I have already called him out several times on but to no avail it seems.
