No Pets!!!

Don't make pets, that's a stupid idea. What's the point of them, they follow you around and get on your nerves? We have Snipes to fill the role of pets. And so what if snipes don't follow you around, pets aren't always obedient either!

In all seriousness, I think dual wielding isn't a bad idea because who on earth needs a shield!? All I ever use a shield for is Swiftstrike Buckler or Barborous Thorn Shield, not for defense, but for Sword Damage and ASI. Shields are more like trinkets, and completely useless for anything else, as PvE is far too easy as it is. However giving us two times the damage with Dual Wielding would make it even EASIER, so I guess it really doesn't matter.

I guess I agree with most that's here, being that mecha knights do approximately 8 damage per attack, they are completely useless, and if pets were just as useless, and shocked you when they were close, then there would be NO reason to even have them, except to keep aggro off of you. And pets would make PvE EVEN easier, and it's too easy as it is.

Break the frigging stereotypes.

Make Dual Wield/Two hand to be a new weapon(Like a dual katana instead of having you dual wield cali) with it's own dmg outputs and animations than the combined strength of two different weapons.

AND ALLOW FRIGGING SHIELDS.

Atrumvindex. It's not a "stereotype" as you put it, it's just not a good idea. "A stereotype is a belief that may be adopted about specific types of individuals or certain ways of doing things, but that belief may or may not accurately reflect reality. (if the reality was that dual wielding/2 handed weapons was a good idea, and we still disagreed THEN it would be a stereotype) <-I apologise if the bracketed sounded patronising but some people may think that the definition proved you right.
Baodur. In pretty much all games that use dual wielding; there are penalties for the off-hand weapon as well as the main weapon to account for balance/dexterity etc. that said, it isn't something that should be implimented into this game.

EDIT: too many "r's" in the for my liking :)

Atrumvindex it's ok, i know

Atrumvindex it's ok, i know it's frustrating when you think you have a good idea that works in your own mind and people just dismiss it. if you really are determined then search these forums for any mention of dual wielding, research these, find the holes in the arguments and see if you can fill them, but you must make it airtight before presenting it in the forums otherwise you will be torn to shreds. It's all about research.

I kinda saw a lot of those threads.

I'm just annoyed at the fact that people usually come to the generic Two hand/DW design.

Processing Thoughts of You Always

The ironic thing is that I would actually be perfectly happy to listen to most of those threads if only people brought something new to the damn table. Apart from eliminating mist and the need for unbinding completely.
