@Blind-Frog: As stated by Prestopotato going to http://zh.web.gamecyber.net/gcGameMain/login.php?game=5 then logging in, you can easily launch the game again. Note that when you do add a shortcut for the Asian Server it will take you to that page and you enter the game the same way.
@Presto: Might be a necro but this thread is like the first thing people finds when looking for an Asian server, the last 8 or so people to join Alliance came from Googling and finding this thread.

I tried to download the game but it would stop at around 95%~ there and display the message "We were unable to download the necessary files after five attempts. You can try running the application again, but if it fails you may need to uninstall and reinstall." and I have already done that D:

Yep, I tried playing there too for the last three days.. The connection's wonderful for me (Never got more than one bar before in the main servers.. T-T).. But I also never met any other player.. English or non-english. It's like it got deserted before I got there.
I've decided not to continue there because it's so lonely. :/

Personally, I'm not a very big fan of the asian server :/ I'm sitting here, in Singapore, with a 1-bar connection, but hey, I don't really care :P 1/2 of the reason I play the game is because of the community.......and the asian server just doesn't seem to have that.............

So now i somehow managed to install the game. (because i tried to log in with GMAIL
but when i would try to select "play now" after it was installed 100% then it just wont start. instead "play now" would re-appear.

What kind of account did you create? You followed the video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYGRe5BZzj8 ? If so, at http://zh.web.gamecyber.net/ find and press the yellow button with letter GC written on it. The rest should be similar to the video again.
If the problem is can't load past rescue camp, the reason is it need to redownload the whole game. Somehow, it might use the main SK files to load rescue camp but once past that, it need its own files so wait patiently for it.
If you want to join Alliance, write your nick here and i will ask the officers.

Well it works..
2 bars is better than infinite red. (at least 500ms~)
I regret spending a single cent on the US servers when this game was pretty new. I didn't know at the time I wouldn't even be able to beat JK. I was especially devo when battle network came out (cos I love bomberman) and it was completely unplayable.
Not sure I'll be spending here, considering the low population and staggering CE prices (14-15K right now).
But I guess thats how it goes, instead of one AU server linked to the US economy (and steam market) which would cost fk all to run considering the traffic..
We get to use an Asian server, where all the westerners go and suck the life outta the economy by never paying to play because of the language barrier, low population and broken economy.
At least I can BLOCK and play bomberman (maybe), we'll see how this turns out.

The Hong Kong button thing on the video doesn't appear on the page it was to, I'm guessing it has stopped accepting new players, so I tried the Taiwan server. The latency is awesome, the only thing that was bothering me was...

I signed up for the lulz but game crashed when I reached rescue camp, dunno why it said "Rescue Camp 25" when it should be called, "Rescue Camp". I restarted instance but it began to download again which kind of puzzled me. and then it became stuck at 70% with remaining time increasing abruptly.
I gave up.
I just wanted to try with one bar connection (I'm from 'murica on east coast)..

Also, if you find difficulty making an account and installing the game, just sign up with facebook or google.
