I have a question regarding 5* stars sets. I use to really pay attention to the cosmetic aspect of things, and I have to say that the Volcanic plate set and Valkyrie set really look amazing. However I know that a lot of people are heading for Vog Cub set since it seems to have really interesting stats. I'm not a huge fan of the way it looks, so I was wondering :
Can Volcanic plate or Valkyrie sets be a good option for Tier 3? Or would it be a bad choice?

Yes I know that, but it would be really expansive, so I'd rather directly focus on one set .
It exists, so it can be used. You'll just have to play more carefully than if you choose the 'best' set.
I want to see you wear Valkyrie Set in Firestorm Citadel and get hit by Burn once.
No fire resist already takes away 2.5/3 bars per tick.

You do know that you can wear the Vog Cub equipment for the stats and wear Volcanic or Valkyrie gear over it in the decoration slot, right? That way you'll get the stats you need and the looks you want.
