Yo, OOO. How about fixing the reconnection bug with wireless Gamepads/Controllers.

So, yeah. I posted this in the Bug Forums about 5 months ago hoping that someone would see it but it doesn't look like they check it very often. *cough*
So I'm posting it here because clearly OOO reads this forum more than Bug Reports.

Anyway, whenever your Gamepad (Xbox 360 Controller in this case) disconnects in-game, you have to completely close out the game to reconnect it. I understand that bug fixes aren't exactly your first priority but it's generally annoying that I have to close it out every time my Battery dies or I go idle for a bit.

So, yeah. Mind fixing it please?

It's a common thing with some pc games in general. If the controller wasnt on when starting the game (or was unpluged), it wont work.
Detection is likely only checked at game launch.

I don't know any game that

I don't know any game that has gamepad support that will detect a gamepad after the game's been launched.

If you really want to maintain at least some support, you could install Xpadder, which maps your gamepad to keyboard keys. You can in theory set the control stick to arrows which is basically the same, but you do lose some control as the game itself has a much more nuanced control. But it's better than nothing!
