How long does it take to type these stories?
20-25 minutes?
An hour?
MOAR?
It's just me getting impatient, that's all.
Derelict was right. A giant metal creature bounded into the room holding...What the hell was that? It looked like a wolver, but its head and body were replaced with mechanical parts. Poor thing. The so called Juggernaut made splashes in the rushing water. Atro still has not finished his lock picking act.
"Atro, you keep working on freeing them. I'll hold off the Juggernaut", I said. In my head I thought how to defeat it,
Ok. Go around to the back and start hitting it. Thats a similar weakness to stone monsters. I rushed it. The monster screeched. The half-mechanical wolver shouted.
"H-HELP!!", it screamed, struggling to break free from the monster's grip. I wanted to save that poor wolver. When I was carrying out my plan, I slipped. Guess the water level got a little high. I paddle with my four legs to the back of the monster. I could see its details now. The Juggernaut was clearly made of metal, and had screens on its back. Incomprehensible symbols were being projected.
Thats its weak spot. I lunged forward, crashing through the mechanical beast. I was inside it now. There were wires flickering inside. I braced to get shocked to death, then I saw the real enemy. A small, stout gremlin, moving sticks and pushing buttons. I sneaked up behind it and ripped its brain out.
"HISSSSSSSSSSSSSsssssssssssssss.......", it chocked out as it died. The Juggernaut started creaking, and finally fell to the ground. On top of me and the mechanized wolver.
Thanks for including my character so quickly. Also, you seem to be switching between tenses. I think you should stay in past or present.
I woke up on the battlefield, empty, except for dead wolvers and gremlins. Bradstone and Derelict were carrying me. I spoke.
"Wha...What happened?", I asked, clearly more injured than I thought.
"Well, after you fell under the so called Juggernaut, you and Starkralle were knocked out for a long time." Atro responded.
"Wait, Starkralle?", I asked, puzzled.
"Yeah, remember that mutation you saw the Juggernaut carrying?", he replied.
"Oh, well continue", I said. I was starting to get relaxed on the backs of my allies.
"Weeeeeeelllllllllllll, a lot of gremlins showed up, but we took them down, and then the crawler....THE CRAWLER!!!", he shouted.
He was right, the broken shell of the crawler was chugging along slowly in the distance, partly covered by fog.
"Well, looks like we're going to have to find another way up", Derelict said contently.
The wolver inside this box will use his own blood as a revive to this thread. Your welcome.
~Sorry about not posting this, I had some school-related issues~
We looked at the metal machine. The light flickering showing something like a snowflake.
After the crawler left without us, Derelict said that she had seen something that could take wolvers up and down the world from her childhood. Her wits led us to this broken down, heap of metal. Atro complained.
"I don't think that we should do this. I mean, look at this thing! It's all broken! We're NEVER going to get back up to home!"
"Shut up Atro", Derelict sneered, "I think I can get this thing working".
Derelict starting shuffling her feet on the ground. And, soon enough, we were on an elevator. Going down. Wait, Down?!!?!
"WAIT, WHY THE HELL ARE WE GOING DOWN?!?!?", I shouted.
"It's the only way to go up, technically speaking", Derelict said.
"Wait, wha?", I asked, puzzled.
"Well, when we get to a certain place, we'll have the option to go up to home. Until then, we'll have to keep going down", Derelict explained.
The strange piece of machinery stopped. We were on a completely different floor. It was cold, like a blizzard was going on. Then I saw someone familiar in the distance.
Wait, Frosti?
"Yes, it's me," Frosti said in his ghostly form.
"But...But how?", I asked, puzzled.
"Well, all Frostifurs, when they die, they turn into a ghost", Frosti explained.
"Cool", Bradstone interjected.
"But all is not well in this place", Frosti exclaimed sadly.
"Why?", Derelict asked inquisitively.
"It was not the gremlins or the heat that caused me to die. It was Maulos", Frosti explained.
"Maulos?", Elira questioned.
"Yes, Maulos. The mighty ice trojan. He never liked me, or any of the other wolvers. So I ran away like a coward. Maulos heard of the news and smited me on the battlefield. I am now his eternal servant", Frosti replied.
"But we don't want you to be his servant!", Zechariah expressed.
"There is a way", Frosti explained, "You must beat Maulos. And kill him. I know a guy who can help. His name is Morpheus. Just look for the old, wooden shack by the mountain over there. He looks a little weird, but he is very wise."
"Thank you", I said. And we headed off for the mountains.
I know you are doing another fanfic on Snarbolaxes, but I am not trying to make a funny story. It's kind of a lore with meaning I am trying to make...I haven't had the guts to post until now though XD I think I am going to type a chapter now...
I knocked on an old, brown door. I felt it, mahogany. One of the most valuable woods in all of the planet. Out of the blue, and old and...what the f***? The guy was purple, and he was carrying a stick in one of his paws.
"Why, Hello there", the elderly wolver said,"What brings you here?"
"Err", Elira responded hesitantly,"Are you Morpheus?"
"Why yes, I am. My good friend Frosti told me that you would be here, and that you need some help with defeating Maulos. I got a strategy. Come in, come in", Morpheus replied contently.
***
We trudged out of Morpheus's house, wearing metal plates and fur caps. Morpheus gave us pure white caps, said they were from Frosti. It fit well, and protected us from the cold. Bradstone found a sign, and called to us to catch up. He was a long way away, I estimate 50 yards.
As soon as we got there, Zechariah said the words in horror.
Maulos's realm.
Ouch...can you blame my thread...serious bro that hurt...mine is more on the Lore side of things, more serious...did you have to type that, WHY?!...I wouldn't have made it if it was supposed to be slightly funny, like this story...I think I just lost my confidence for the day...and you don't really need to protest it, hardly anyone is reading it...*cries self to sleep that night*
Guys if you want to have an argument go here: http://cdn2.holytaco.com/wp-content/uploads/images/2009/11/stupid-argume...
Nice chapter. But is this the end of Morpheus? >_<
We stood before the gate which lead to the trojan's realm. We went over our gear, making sure we haven't forgotten anything. Bradstone went over his combat gear deliberately, stating everything and what it was used for. His red eyes gleamed a while ago when we heard that we were going to take down Maulos. Now I could see that same gleam. He was happy. Bradstone was always one who loved combat.
"...Armor Plating, made by the wolvers from the lost city of Electropolis", he stated. I looked around to see if anyone was paying attention. Derelict lowered her head slightly. I knew what was wrong, she told me a couple of days ago, while we were still heading to look for a way home. She was a voltail from Electropolis, and her family was lost in the disappearance of the once great city.
Zechariah and Elira seemed fond of each other, they always stayed close to each other, always volunteered to do everything together. I wondered what would happen when the time came to face Maulos.
Atro sat quietly, tinkering with something. A bomb, most likely. That was his favorite thing, he always did everything with them and his teeth. I wondered what would happen if he hadn't had those things.
I guess we were about to find out.
"WHO DARES TO DISTURB THE GREAT ICE KING MAULOS???!!?!?!", the great trojan bellowed. We were in for it.
A little love puppy on a little teensy-weensy wagon rolls along. It barks affectionately towards the fiend, and fires a little heart at him. The token of love wraps around the armor and makes Maulos pink. :3
Besides that, I have donated 400 CE for the revival of this thread.
Sorry about the delay. I have been sick for a couple of days and couldn't get on SK.
~
Ugh. This was terrible. I thought we could sneak up on him, but that didn't work. Oh, well. Time to fight. Maulos picked up his frozen mace, and swung it at Elira. She flew back about a good twenty feet. She landed with a loud thud. She moaned in pain. Nothing I could do now, I had to fight. I rushed the trojan, hoping that my agility would give me an advantage.
Nope. I too got smacked in the face with the mace, and swung in the complete opposite direction of Elira and the battle. I saw Bradstone fly off into the mountains, and an explosion knocking Maulos back. I landed by a cave and everything went black.
***
I awoke in a white room, I got up and explored. Perfectly round. I thought I heard Zechariah screaming, but I wasn't so sure. The room was perfectly round, except for a glowing white orb in the middle. I thought for a moment, recollecting what just happened to me. I got hit with a hammer, then...died? I thought it was heaven or purgatory or some other realm, but before I could think about it some more I saw a blindingly white flash of light and suddenly, I was back at the cave, in my own, mangled, injured body. I struggled to stand, but eventually I made it up. I saw a black object swoop across my field of vision. I went to investigate.
"Oh, well isn't this a surprise", Morpheus said.
I don't let stuff die. Especially stuff I want to keep. :3
/shout Yo Dreath, get ova ere.
Now excuse me while I weep over no one commenting revive posts on my fanfic.
The Finale? Is this the end of the book? :F
If Atro becomes Knight, he'll probably become a Dread Venom User :P
I WAS SICK AGAIN! DON'T BE MAD AT ME!
***
Morpheus slammed his paw on the button. The system starting glowing with a yellow aura. In a flash of light, we were gone.
***
I woke up laying down. I looked at myself.
"What the hell?", I thought to myself. I had HANDS. I tried to stand up, but I wobbled and fell down on the grass below me. Another knight stood above me, he was tall and in armored regailia.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING DOWN HERE SOLDIER! GET UP AND START MOVING! ALL OF YOU START MOVI'N!", he bellowed at me and my friends that I suddenly saw to my sides. Gosh, this guy was worse than Tuitt.
I looked at my friends, all of them wore a white cap similar to the ones that Frosti gave us. I finally had a chance to take in my surroundings, a yellow bird was nudging at my feet. I picked it up with ease. The bird found its way into a pocket in some sort of brigadine I was wearing. I turned around to try and speak with my friends when I saw a banner and found out just what I have gotten myself into.
Knighthood.
Wow, really? I thought you might've thought it was a bit OP. Thx!
