Well, hello everybody... I created an account on these forums just to post a couple of threads.
Alright, so this is the first one. I'm quitting.
Why you ask? Well, I'm running out of time, so I'll edit this with the reasons later... Right now I just wanted to let everyone know about this little game I'm gonna do..
I'm giving away HALF of my current cr/CE (I'm F2P btw, so don't even dare to say I'm rich or something) In total I'm giving away 170 million crowns +/- & 1.7 mill CE, along with a couple millions worth in materials.
No, it's not gonna be as easy as just asking for it... I decided I'm giving 1/5 of that to 5 lucky players... What do you have to do, you ask?
Well, it's really simple: I've distributed those crowns and CE between 5 alts, which I have never posted on, never talked to anyone, never did anything but trade once with them, they're like ghosts on the SK community.
What you have to do is send me ONE and just ONE mail in-game, with FIVE random ign's on it (ign=in game name... Why do people don't know this?) No more than 1 mail or 5 names on it.
If one of those names happen to be one of my alts, you're getting 1/5 of those moneyz!
Now please, just 1 mail per person... I'm gonna track this, and if someone sends more than 1 mail, or more than 5 names you're disqualified.

P.S.S. Not giving any tips at all, you gotta guess it on your own. Also, I'm posting a couple more usefull threads later today, or tomorrow... So, stay aware!

Here are the reasons.... (Once again, this isn't meant to be a show-off thread, it's just my honest oppinion about the current game)
1.- After getting all those crowns/CE/items I got, I realized it was just a huge waste of time. I mean, yeah, I got a lot of good friends in-game (And that's the only reason why I'll log in once a month or so) But still, I won't be able to recover all the time I spent on this game. I still got real-life friends, and I find it easier to keep those.
2.- I'm tired, just tired of all the people who think of themselves of gods (or something similar) when it's just their UV's, AA, or when they're just noobs, who can't get over it.
3.- As most of you know, I don't play PvE anymore, just LD. Lately, it's been getting filled with tons of newbs/noobs, AA spammers, polaris spammers, people who won't do anything but hide behind guns until the enemy is handicapped (shock, stun, etc...), hammer spammers, etc...
I know, it's always been like that, but not to this grade.
I can deal with them, but it's just annoying when people don't even know when to use guns and keep cancelling other people's attacks, for example.
4.- I don't find this challenging anymore. I thought that playing in proto would make this much harder, but that just proved I was right. People nowadays rely so much on their ASI, Uv's, AA, 4 bars, etc... That they've already forgotten about skill!
That just pissed me off so much.... Sigh. This is simply not worth it, when I can't find a decent opponent anywhere (There's just a couple of them, But still they don't make up for so many newbs).
5.- Several personal, real-life reason... Not gonna bother you with them ^_^
I hope you guys keep enjoying this game as much as I did, while I did. It's a really great game, but the people who play it are killing it.

If you use Steam you can trade your Spiral Knights stuff for other Steam stuff, like TF2 metal or copies of games.

Adorable.
According to this wiki page, here are some relevant rules:
-Names can only be 4 to 18 characters long and can have no more than 2 consecutive letters (e.g. Moo, but not Moooooo).
-You can have up to two dashes in your name, but there needs to be a minimum of two characters between dashes. Each new word is automatically shown with a capital letter. (e.g. Knight-Of-Purple)
-Knight names cannot contain any filtered words.
The maths get kinda complicated when you need to remove filtered words and count with a max of two dashes, consecutive letters, and such. Let's simplify, at least. How many letters do we have in the English alphabet? 6 and 20. The max amount of letters in a name were 8 and 10.

I don't even know what that 'e' means 'cause I'm in 8th grade, but guess what! I highly doubt anyone would win. You could probably cut off a few millions on that number due to exceptions though.
As a side note, you're a fool to not merge with a steam account unless you have done so already and buy games for the CE. If you'd give ridiculous amounts of CE, people would buy you games for it as they'd be able to get maybe $80 worth of CE for $50. If I were you, I'd get Skyrim among many many others.

Alright, I don't really care if you think it's legit or not. I know it's true, and some friends already know how to do this... It's rather easy, for people who can think.
I don't really know how much real money that would be worth, but at this point (If I stayed awake for 2 days straight) I can make 15 mill more everytime I want +/-.
If you still don't trust me, well, it's up to you. You're the ones wasting the chance to become richer than ever in just 1 mail.

It's alright, just don't send more than 1 mail per character, all I wanted was to have a neat list of all the mails, and it's easier if you send mails with different characters.

AKA, if you win, you only get ~6kCR /CE. Not much if you already doubt the legitimacy of this thread. Even if he did mean dividing all of it amongst 5, you still dont get too much.
Basically fake fake fake fake fake, WITH ... no proof and no one will win.
And on the slim chance that this is real, I wanna see pics of the winner's earnings. Show us the mail of you winning. But of course, that chance alone is probably 1 to 2.947e.

Ridiculous. I've been playing for a whole year and only have gotten as far as getting a skolver coat, a barbarous thorn shield, a triglav, and an ash tail cap. I have full dusker, and i've gotten the expansion pack also. I'm soon getting skolver cap, but i've been playing for... a YEAR. And I haven't gotten CLOSE to 170 mil. I've only spent Kreds (Kongregate money, because I play via Kongregate) and i've gotten the kreds for FREE from doing third-party offers. But yeah, you're F2P and this is all baloney. Super-Spiral-God? I whispered him for the reward thing and I got no reply. Tried adding him but no reply. It's another alt you forgot about AND Vice not Vlce AND 170 mil and 1.7 mil ce is ludicrous AND that's only possible with an incredible amount of money AND this is just to get yourself attraction AND digging under more bars won't get you anywhere AND I believe we've got another troll here.

It's physically possible to amass a fortune from being Free to Play. All you need is a lot of time,a lot of luck, and common sense. I've been F2P since the Valkyrie Wing promo (hasn't been one good enough to warrant my $10), and here's some of my better deals along my path of merchanting.
By the way, I just celebrated my 1-year anniversary this past July.
White rose set- 1.1 mil. Sold for: 80kCE
Sprinkle Auras at: 5kce, 5 mil CR, 3.5 mil CR, Sold for: 60k ce, 70k ce, 4.9mil CR
Military Wings- 200k, sold for: 45kCE
Heavy Wings/Toasty Toupee- Unboxed, sold for: 25kCE and 11k CE
That's just the tip of the iceberg. Now imagine a person like Thegamevice, who unlike me, did not start merchanting in May of 2012 and has probably been merching for the entirety of his playing life. Also factor in the UVs that have been potentially crafted, rolled, resold, used, etc. by Thegamevice. Then factor in the good deals that he may have obtained, and there you go.
EDIT: AND in the spirit of the post I am replying to, AND the fact that I should attempt to do what Thegamevice did (ermahgerd, I'm gonna have to drop out of High School to do such godliness!) AND that I am physically not at the AH all the time (lucky you, other-merchs!) AND I'm asphyxiating so you'd have another 24 hours while I'm at the hospital AND-

This is going to be my last post, other than updates about winners. Apparently people here still don't understand the point... I'm not bragging, I'm not asking for you to give me anything, I'm GIVING you things for free.
About the merching, I got an in-depth guide posted somewhere in the internet... You're not gonna find it =P I tell about it to 5 people per month (The more people who know about it= the less revenue each one will have) So, the first 5 people who ask about it will get it next month. 2 people already asked for it, so just 3 spots left.
It's really non-time consuming, really easier than what most people would think... With just 1-2 hours a day, depending on how much you got to invest, you can make up to 600k~ per day.
I started playing over 1 year ago, started merching ever since the first second I found out about the AH. merched for about 8 months, you do the maths. 8 months, 3-5 hours a day, 300-600k~ per hour... Well, back in those days it was so easy, that I got my full 5* set in about 3 weeks (Due to the amount of heath needed >_>)
^^ Of course the above is just an estimation, I'm not sure of how much time exactly I used to merch, since I used to do PvE way more often back in those days.
Once again, lots of people have been sending me mails, 1 winner so far. If you don't trust me, it's alright. I don't care if you're wasting your chance... Just let the other people have a nice experience here, alright?
The winner sent me a mail in Kongregate, he's got the account already... I'm not sure if he's going to transfer, or just keep my alt... So, it's up to you if you want to find him/her.

I've been watching this thread and trying to decide whether to comment, but this assertion pushed me over the line.
The fact is, the knights Super-Spiral-God and Achamaham are on the same account.
Furthermore, after a thorough search, which I had rechecked by another staff member, I don't see any evidence that the OP's account or its related accounts has (or ever had) 170 million crowns or 1.7 million CE.
Accordingly, I'm going to move this thread into a more appropriate forum section and lock it.
Only one mail? No problem, I have like 15 different characters (5 accounts x 3 knigths each). In fact, since everyoen can make 3 free accounts, there's a minimun of 9 mails per player.
