Hey, I just wanted to ask for a good way to make crowns? Right now my crown-making method is by doing missions. Yeah not so good. I hardly get any. So I was just asking if there's a better way that i can make umm 20k-30k I'm not sure. You're help would be appreciated. Thanks. -Sharp Exo
P.s I might not know some of the words you mention on the guide.
Good way to make crowns? please
There are quite a few missions (*cough* boss missions*cough*) that give out a large amount of crowns, I recommend farming those missions for crowns.
However, do note that this will take time, and by no means do any of the missions give out 20k crowns straight up.
Some of you are saying to do bosses. Since im new im not in a high level. If I did shadow of the beast mission would i get alot of crowns?
Shadow of the Beast does give above-average crowns for its stratum, yes.
I would recommend doing it several times. In addition, its rewards are excellent, giving two awesome piercing weapons as well as an excellent shield for sword-users. Barbarous Thorn Blade's charge looks epic and does a lot of damage over an area, making it a safe sword and good in PvP for hitting Recons; Dark Briar Barrage will keep wolvers, zombies and gremlins completely shut down due to its knockdown effect.
Shadow of the beast is also good for heating up equipment. Once you have enough tokens for the items you want, just do the first two levels since that's where the bulk of the cash/heat comes from. You can do 5 sets of runs in a day. Takes a while, but quite good for getting your knight prepped for T2.
The boss gives 3-4k in tokens, what are you talking about?
Search the forums for "earn crowns" or "make crowns". There have been countless threads on this topic. Read the ones dated since March or so, because missions really changed the economy.
Yes, the Vanaduke fight is worth at least 3,000 crowns, just in tokens.
I make about 50k per day buying/selling mats. Here are my strategies:
1) Check the 80+ mats 3-4 times a day. If you put them in alpha order and memorize the list it takes about 20 minutes just to run through the list...but more if you stop and buy/sell materials.
2) Make sure you know the pattern of each material...how many are purchased in an average day, how long they take to sell, the low point of their price and the high point. Don't attempt to sell more than the market will buy before the price drops or you will have to pay for all the "un-sold" listings.
3) Buy in large (low priced) lots and sell them slowly, a few at a time, when the price is up.
4) Keep a good inventory so you can have what is needed when the price really jumps...I made 95,000cr in one sale because I was the only one who (apparently) had the material needed.
5) Finally, recognize that it will take about six weeks before you get good enough to really make the cr.
Hope this helps you become a Mat Master, like me.
Ajqtrz, how much real time does this require of you?

Gloaming Wildwoods (no boss, just the first two depths, this applies to the next ones)
Total run*: 1637
Per 100me**: 8185
* That's the average of coins I got in 6 different runs (to a max of 23 or so I will complete one day, this apllies with the next ones), the max was 1724 and the min was 1557
**That's the crowns of the total run multiplied by 5
Royal Jelly Palace
Total run*: 2244
Per 100me: 11220
*The average from a total of 9 different runs, min 2131; max 2319
Ironclaw Munitions Factory
Total run*: 2138
Per 100me: 10690
*That's the crowns I got in the only run I did there (to complete its mission), so I recommend looking at RJP tests as I think it gives the same amount of crowns
As my Tier is not high enough I don't have any run in Firestorm Citadel, sorry. But they said to be like 17,5K (doing boss) to 21K (without boss)
Grab your credit card and buy CE easy right?
I was blessed with a awesome tf2 account, i bought tf2 the day it came out witch was several years ago, traded a few buds and had more then enough money/Ce to get an epic spiral knight account aswell.
I also craft my free 100ce everyday, wait for the uv's to show up then start crafting 3 star uv stuff, if its a low uv then it will sell for around 15 to 30k
if its a high/verhigh/max uv it will sell for alot more we are talking 100-300k depending on the uv, maybe even more if your lucky.
I don't really recommend this because it is frowned upon but if you have multiple accounts your profit rates will increase, example if i had 5 accounts i would be crafting about 500ce a day, witch also gives me a 5% increase in uv crafts being made.
I also have some other methods on making cr/ce fast but like a Magician i must never reveal all of my secrets, only but a select few.
I Like Playing Shadow Of The Beast To Get Crowns
The snarby mission is REALLY easy money for the energy you spend on elevators (sans spending energy to take the elevator to snarby himself).
If you want a decent workout plus good pay, any'f the bosses are Great.
I'm not T3 certified yet, so I wouldn't know about Vanaduke (I hear it IS good pay anyway).
You should also experiment jumping down the arcade. I like to join parties going into arenas, and when we make it out alive, we end up collecting 8-10kcr going down just a few floors.
The battle arenas are the floors symbolized with a shield, and if you're on a floor with multiple levels to go down to next, you can wait less'n 10 minutes and it'll rotate to a different kind of level.
do the ones with arenas and danger rooms
I got 7k from 1 run doing everything ( in tier 1)
do the first two levels of Romulus twins then go up and do it again
if ur cheap like me and don't buy ce you can get about 12500 a day witch in four days could get you an upgrade from a 3 star item to a 4 star
Is this a Neco? Anyway, playing the auction house is indeed a good way to make money. You can also play the markets.
How else to make crowns without using USD or grinding?
That I don't know.
Silly advice.
1) The first two levels of RJP pay out better than the first two levels of IMF.
2) The RT level itself pays out tremendously well. Trade tokens for Pulsars, unbind, and sell on the AH. Skipping the boss level is silly.
*(((This is a COMPLETE guide for newcomers skip to paragraph 3 if you want to read middle game.)))*
Takes quite a large amount of time to actually make crowns. My first 100k took me about... 2 months? You can achieve that amount of crowns much faster honestly but I was new to the game back then. I've been playing for 2 years now and I pretty much know about every aspect there is to making crowns anyway here is a guide that gives a good bit of info on how to make them. Enjoy! :)
First when you start off in SK there won't be much info to take in because you don't have friends yet. But try to make some and ask them about game mechanics to get more knowledge on the game. Then you should be familiar with some of the game mechanics and you'll be able you embark on your journey into the Clockworks. Now after a few depths that you've done for training do missions with your friends or just anyone in general make sure you do enough of them to get to the Lair of Snarbolax mission where you get most of your early crowns. Do that a few times until you receive a total ten tokens from it. Once you've done that find Brinks or Sullivan they're the Npc's who take in the tokens and give you items in return. Get a sword with your tokens and use it on Snarbolax runs until you get armor that defends you from piercing damage. Armor and weaponry can be obtained from the Auction house, Npc's, or it can be crafted.
Now since you have at least 2 star equipment go and do missions all the way to Royal Jelly King. You should have 10k crowns if you've been saving. Use it on Wolver armor or shadow weapons since they're best for the situation right now. After that you can do the Jelly King mission and not be such a push over to the Slimes compared to before. Now do the Jelly King mission until you get to 0-9 mist energy and after that wait another day to do it again make sure you use all of the mist energy you can in one day. Only do the first 2 depths of the mission though as you are not ready to fight the boss just yet also please don't try to be a hero and revive yourself or else you will be short on energy AND crowns. Once you've done this for a week straight or so you should have 60k-70k crowns. Amazing right? Now go spend it on recipes or just buy the 3 star item(s) directly (Don't buy 4 star or 5 star directly although only do it up to 3 star.) to help you get full 3 star don't buy a Sealed Sword because once you can fight JK you'd just be wasting your crowns on it same goes for Antigua.
Now do 2-5 weeks of JK runs per day and you will have enough crowns to purchase recipes for 4 star items. Do more missions and get to the Roarmulous Twins mission and get enough tokens to get a pulsar and then upgrade it. This will help you much more on the defensive side, considering it pushes enemies away from you. If you have friends who regularly do FSC runs at this point. Ask to join them! Make sure you also do a few JK runs if you can't afford to upgrade your pulsar yet. But yeah if you join them then you will be able to rack up tons of crowns per week even more than JK runs! So make sure you do that all the way until you can get 5 star armor.
Anyway that's how I arrived at where I am now. Hopefully you can get there too! Hope this helped out a bit. Good luck! :D
TL;DR
A guy who has the following gear does a snarby run
Snarbolax armour
Snarbolax cap
Barbarous thorn shield
Barbarous thorn blade
vs.
Snarbolax and his minions.
Its basically a Snarby vs. Snarby(especially with the awsome charge of the BTB)
AND WHO WILL WIN???
right now I've got 3 star items and all i recommend is doing RJ runs as it gives you loads of cr. Bring friends along because you might die a lot and reviving is such a pain.
You're replying to a 2012 thread.
all i recommend is that you should pay attention.
If its crowns you want then buy stuff from the auction that will sell (and that's cheap) sell it. The money you spent on it you can add that from 0 then add the money you want and sell it.

I literally only saw the 5 money's in the subjects of those threads, and instantly Mr. Krabs came to mind.
Auction House and Trading guide for Beginners should be the answer to your questions.
EDIT: Durp he wasn't asking for how to sell things.
I'd say to focus-fire your time and energy on the bosses in the arcade
sure, their not as easy to reach but they pay more than in the missions
.
RJP gives about 2-3k per run
RJP in the arcade gives around 5k per run (unincluding the other levels that you have to do to get there)
.
Last I checked, Snarbo Lair gives about 1.7k per run
Arcade one gives out about 3k last I've checked.
.
Vana gives 7k per run
I don't really know about the arcade verson, though.
.
Back when missions didn't exist, you had to grind and force your way there, and it payed off, too.
It still does if you really wish to venture into the arcade, but I doubt that you would.
Make 20-30k in what amount of time/runs?
One of best ways to get crowns is to run FSC, you get ~8k for the first four levels, the boss doesn't give much, so its your choice if you want just crowns, or the tokens too.
