As I was examining the levels, I noticed something. There seems to be a lack of certain environments that seem perfectly logical in Cradle! As well, the Beast Family is lacking in comparison to the other monster families.
First: Water/Ocean levels. Where does the drinking water in Cradle come from? How about the fountains in Wolver Dens, Lichenous Lairs and Haven? Well look here, I have a solution!
The Sparkling Sea (or Ocean of Omens if you prefer) is a series of coral reef islands floating in water. Rather than looking down on bare gears, the Knights look down upon a deep ocean where mechanics whirr and spin, regulating the water temperature and pressure.
New enemies in this level:
Sharken (Beast): Little sharks that leap out of the water and bite you. They will occasionally dive back in if damaged.
Splish (Beast): Fat little water-drop turret that fires projectiles. When it dies, it reveals a cartoon heart within its body (thus making it alive, not a slime).
Second: Dusty Desert (or Parched Plains if you prefer) is a series of sand dunes and Gremlin ruins. The ruins in this area resemble Haven structures, but destroyed and engulfed by sand. As a visual effect, sand can pour down from the edges of the map (actually retextured water)
New enemies in this level:
Geode (Beast): Little rock man that punches you. Has glowing, mismatched red eyes.
Big Geode (Beast): Big rock man that slams the ground like a Lumber. Has a single red eye.
Gremlin Duster (Gremlin): Gremlin, wrapped in sand cloth. Attacks with a Cutter sword like the Void Gremlin.
Hope you like my ideas! All names in here are just stand-ins and may be changed.

These look nice. I'd like to see OOO implement them... after they fix all the crippling bugs and balance issues their game still has.
