ohhhh nooooo.

well. i think that you may be valuing your stuff at too much of a premium, particularly for a going out of business sell. I am one of the people on the game with the best grasp of prices, ask around. I have been at this for a long time. My prices are fair but allow for me to turn a small profit @ resell, with a patient approach that lasts for months (not something someone quitting is likely to want to do...wait months for the right buyer to come along.)

I wish you luck, and advise you take a critical and objective look into what your stuff is really worth. Go online and ask for price checks in trade chat.

Featured Auction sonic set went for 940k both pieces together. Everyone knows that Featured Auctions go for about 25% more than regular auctions or sells because they are, you know, FEATURED!!!!!!!!! Plus if you sell in the Auction house you lose an additional 10%.

Again, i wish you luck, but between the wanting 2m for your sonic set and claiming the Prism Party hat the RAREST item on the game...........i think you might be a bit off on where the market is actually at for these items. I am not trying to be rude, I am simply trying to help, since i imagine you'd like to sell this stuff quickly and fairly and move on with life, if you are quitting.

and i already admitted that i was offering under market value because i would resell for market value to make a profit. I never try to be sneaky about being a merchant. I'm not ever trying to rip people off. Just facilitate the movement of goods for a small profit. :)

Not even sure what this is but im a trader and IM selling to make a profit not selling to another trader so he
can make a profit thats COUNTER productive my good sir. Im selling to people who want to equipt or hang onto
the items not resell it for 2 fold as i said im a trader and i doubt selling to another trader will be benificial for me
to get the tf2 items i desire. what people dont understand is IM QUITTING SK FOR TF2. But yet i get stupid comments

I simply asked you a question in game and you got an attitude and told me to not bother you. I got my friend to ask you prices to see what you wanted for the love aura cause I didn't know if you were going to let them go cheap or not (one would assume so since you are leaving SK and have no attachment to the items). Then you start INSULTING my friend over the base price, calling him a noob and whatnot. If you want to do business like a man, I suggest you grow a pair and learn how to barter without getting upset over something. Price to low? Ask to go higher. Don't make demeaning remarks to someone. You want business, we wanted to buy. Yeah there are more people out there willing to buy but note that you won't get anywhere snapping on people like that over a simple 'here's my offer'. You CLEARLY stated that we should GIVE you an offer. And if you really want some business, why not post what you're trying to get in TF2 and maybe someone would trade you it. Good think you're leaving SK. Short-fused egotistical people like you need to keep away from us actually trying to help and/or are trying to buy something we really want.

I do believe that your prices are a bit high. It is also customary for other merchants to buy merchants goods and resell. This is a quitting sale so many merchants will want to find deals. Rommil is a fine merchant, and reselling is part of this game. Someone could easily buy out something on the AH for the prices you want for your items. How you could sell toasty valk for 550k I cannot even begin to grasp. Also you make the mistake that anything you see on the AH is gospel, many people put items on there for RIDICULOUS prices.

High, but which seller wouldn't want high prices?

But man, you have no clue re: the Sonic set. Perhaps some sucker once paid 2 mil for one, but I've seen dozens go at ~250kcr for the suit and 300-500kcr for the mask. Readust your expectations.

P.S. The pris party hat is rare, but hardly the rarest in the game. Many non-promo prismatics are rarer and more highly-prized. So are many auras. Also, as a matter of probability, shadow party hats are surely rarer, albeit probably not as in demand.

You claimed they were like 450k minimum; I said not so. It is possible that they are at that level now--I haven't been able to follow hat prices--but it was certainly an overestimation then.

You also claimed that volc party hats were worth 3 mil cr or more. From your sale of the divine party hat for 650k, I take it you soon realised that this was not correct.

Bigfootm asked me to join you guys because you were being unreasonable. I quoted a price for the toasty that was in between your quote and his; you accused me of giving a "politician's answer". You then accused me of having harassed someone named "Derpfox". Somewhere in there, you made that inflated claim for the worth of a volc hat (you didn't claim to have been the one who sold it, though).

It was quite an odd conversation. I remember it well.

P.S. There are a great many accessories in the game that are worth 3 mil cr.

I came here hopefully looking for Ghostly Aura, but instead read some nasty stuff...

If you're a merchant you gotta be friendly towards your customers. Ignoring them in Haven, or disrespecting them in the forum, is not healthy for your business. If someone gives you an offer, think about it, and don't be a smart-ass. Be respectful, if you're respectful to others, your customers will come back and you'll get more profit, but being rude like your comments above, your goods will never leave your arsenal.

Plus, if you have offers on your items, at least put a price of what you want, especially a buy out or a starting bid, it'll be helpful to your customers.
