So, people seem a lot more excited about this one than the Hunter crap. :P What combinations have you all cooked up so far? Pictures (whether of current outfits or planned ones) are welcome.
In particular, what does Surge stuff go well with other than other Surge stuff, in your opinion?
(Has someone already created a thread like this? If so, link it and I'll gladly post there and graveyard this one.)

The halo is the Arcane Halo from the promo that came from. Got it as a gift from a close friend. I wanted to add some round shades but for whatever reason the recolored guardian helm (Surge Crescent Helm) does not accept face items like the guardian helm versions do. No idea why they would do something like that but w/e I guess I contacted support about it and got no where as usual.

I was inspired to try for a roman centurion look, mainly because I wanted to find a way to make the Crescent Helms look good XD
A volcanic halo would have been ideal, but it's just too expensive for me. Volcanic accessories seem to match OK with some of the Surge stuff. I am seeing people matching Snarbolax gear with Surge stuff, but it just dosen't seem to work so far- the dark colours are just not similar enough.

@Aureate: Is Firebreak really heavy/toasty? I thought it was volcanic as well. Compare the lower helm colour with e.g. the trimmings on Vog.

Surge setup...
Surge Round Helm and either Volcanic Demo or Snarbolax Coat. I like it. My personal color is red, although it might look better with ultramarine.

I know the red is a bit off looking, and that the dusky flower is as well, but guess what? I can't afford to get a pink personal colour'd flower, and if I could, I'd go for shadow valkyrie wings, but thats out of the question for my budget too.

Originally, I posted this on Tersakoff's fashion thread, but no one bumped it back or kept it up. Sad day, but here goes trial 2.
I'm lucky that my personal color (tealish, I forget what the official name for it is - Sky?) goes so well with this. I'm rocking a Surge Brigandine and an Emberbreak Helmet with Toasty Vertical Vents. The reds don't match exactly but it's damn close.
