Just wanted to know how the banishment works on SK.
I just got banned for a week for begging (which is my first time) and timed my "begging" for a min and a half to avoid the ban-stick.
In the end, I got banned for a week. Sad to say my DA would wait for a week and the awkward moment when you'll get hammered by the mighty ban-stick for begging 500 crowns ( I ran out of mist, and I only need 500cr for my DA )

Just wanted to know how the ban works in this game. And on how they implement them without giving off warnings to players, especially on cases with other players who are consistently begging and cussing without getting banned. And on my case, which was a 10 min beg, where I dint foresaw I would get banned for a simple-timed beg.

Please do lift my banishment, I do admit I did beg and knew my mistakes but the thing that doesn't get off my mind is:
Why did I got banned directly for a short period of time? While majority of the players who I usually encountered in the havens do not? (As I said before, they do cuss consistently and doesn't receive any ban. Sorry, I cant post their names here since its forbidden)

I'm assuming one of these things happened :

1. The players couldn't be bothered to further listen to begging, and had too many in their ignore list already, and decided it was time the beggars disappeared

2. A GM happened to be nearby, and heard you

Either way, they're all unlucky for you. ;<
I do believe that the 1 week ban was far too extreme for simply 500 crowns, but its good to have a reduced amount of beggars, so I'm assuming that might be a reason. :D

Well maybe it does. I do hate beggars actually. But I was that close of obtaining a DA, so I decided to beg. Sadly for a 500 crowns, a week ban plummeted right into my head.

But please, 10 min begging? I timed my begs for 1-1 and half min. It doesnt count as flooding also. But please, A Week ban? That was my first time.
And sadly, SK does not give off warnings to players? Maybe thats the reason I kept seeing players that do flood the chat system and does not get banned.
Its pretty unfair on my case.

We don't generally discuss suspensions on the forums. However, your suspension was not only for begging; you'll notice there's more to the message you received. Feel free to submit a support request if you'd like specifics.

For most offenses, the procedure we follow (and followed in your case), is as follows:

The first infraction gets a warning that you see when you log on.
The second infraction gets a short suspension (typically two days).
The third infraction results in a longer suspension (typically a week).

Again, as you do not seem to remember these, please feel free to ask for specifics in a support request.

Are you sure your ban was for begging? For a 1 week ban it was probably something else. Cursing is not considered a crime by most if it not too profane. Bigotry is more likely I would think... You also receive warnings and I haven't even heard of beggars getting banned before. What do you mean by flooding the chat? Advertising and the like? I do not often see spammers and we have a pretty good system to prevent that. If you really were banned by a GM for a week for such a minor slight that the GM must have had a LONG day.

Yes, im pretty sure its begging. As what I have said before, it was a 10 min beg. I did not cuss neither flood.
And the infractions says, Do not continue to beg, use vulgar language, or evade the chat filter.
I do had a 3-day ban before for cussing (immature furries pissed me off), but I did stop (Dont want to get banned again). Sadly, here comes when they do ban you for 10 min begging. Quite unfair for a 500cr beg.

And for the GM who banned me, please do not lay your bad day by banning me.
Please reconsider

Question still unanswered.
Does "begging" counts as a "legitimate" way to ban someone? Never heard of another player got banned for committing a crime called "Begging".
And again, its a short-time beg that does not count as flood or any other unlawful way to consider it as illegal and bannable.
Please do provide me a LEGITIMATE REASON why was I banned? Mind asking, since im too curious on this case, nothing else.
I do accept the unfair punishment and hoping it would change the banning system. But my question is, WHY?
