This game has come a long way.
I just noticed at the Torto scene (1:17 to be exact) you can see the name of the guy with the magnus(?). It's bandersnatch.
My thoughts while watching that promo video:
Woah look at the way the jellies moved!... Wow look how huge that room is!... OMG A GOLD TROJAN!... Giant Wolvers, ON FIRE, and IN A HUGE ROOM?!?!?...... Wow look how cool that elevator pad looks!... Wait did I see what I think I saw at 1:03...? So much for that eh? lol.....
Indeed it has come a long way. Though I can't help but want to be able to enjoy some of the stuff I saw in that video, I bet that super large room to fight in was awesome.
To confirm a few: Bandersnatch is indeed visible, also the words 'fang of vog' is also in there. It looks like there were events marked where the chat/command line is whenever a creature was killed. and at 0:40 you can see 'Roparzh' name appear above one of the knights. at 0:50, Catfish. at 0:15, bandersnatch. at 0:24, Skubb.
Long way indeed!
When i started the whole game was about farming Firestorm Citadel.
Now the whole game is about farming King of Ashes.
I liked the old direction better actually.
It was a lot less generic and more unique.
Not to say it's completely gone, but it's kind of buried under a pile of other stuff.

This game has indeed come a long way. When I started:
There were only two bosses. Royal Jelly, which EEEVERYBODY FARMED FOREVER (I have amassed well over 400 tokens in my time playing), sometimes even over FSC just for the convenience of it, and of course, Vanaduke. There was no T1 boss and the Roarmulous Twins are still relatively recent, it feems like.
All Jellies were plain cubes, none of that whole spikey business. And didn't really deal a lot of pierce damage.
Items used to unbind when crafted/upgraded, boy people were upset when that changed.
The only way to get trinkets was from Love Puppies, and that was only SOMETIMES.
The game isn't perfect but I like to think that everything is a bit more balanced overall. More refined, at the very least. There is certainly more to do.
I still like this game but i agree with Marazo the game has other meaning with clockworks..I feel like they killed the central idea of the game..
You had a reason to make more armors...They try to fix this situation with danger missions but it ll not be the same even if we have a danger mission for every day of the week...
