so the idea is that you can have a function that allows you to pre-order a item, so for example you want a cold iron vanquisher recipe but no one is selling it, so you pre-order and then when somone puts it on the AH, you get a message telling you it is now on the AH, like a reminder :D

If you really want the item, it only takes 20 seconds to go to AH and check it after doing every mision.
And whats so hard to get you never find?

I'd like to take the liberty to improve upon your idea. There could be a textbox where you type a price, and when the item that appears with a price equal or less than that, it mails you.
