Hi everybody, just want to ask about the function of the crystal energy. I know what mist energy is used for powering the elevators but i dont know what the crystal energy is for. All i know about them is for buying weapons but i am not sure what else. Somebody please give me some answers.

This is explained at the Spiral Knights wiki page "Energy". The wiki holds a wealth of information.
Crystal energy (CE) and mist energy (ME) are interchangeable for all game functions: elevators, crafting, buying things that cost energy, opening extra treasure rooms and danger rooms, etc. The only difference between the two is:
* You automatically gain 1 ME every 13 minutes or so, unless you already have 100 ME. (You can never have more than 100 ME.)
* You cannot trade ME with another player.
