Today I went on SK just when they were about to update it. I got booted out of the server and I went to go update SK. I started out sure enough, but when it got to the 70-75 range, it just stopped loading, and the time just kept increasing. It went up to 34 minutes before I reloaded the page and tried again, but I still got the same problem. I wonder if this is just for me, or if others have this same problem with this never ending download.

NOTE: This was in browser, and I also checked the client, same problem.

Live Long and prosper

This bug happens to me every time there is an update. Once the installation stalls out, I quit the application (thus canceling the installation), and then I reopen it. The installation window will not appear, but the download finishes, and then the game opens up. It usually takes a few minutes for this final step, but it's worked every time for me.

Odd

Strange, whenever patching messes up, restarting the client always seems to work.

Always

This always happens for me as well. It's terribly frustrating and nothing fixes it for me but time. I'm not sure if maybe it's yet another Mac issue that I just have to deal with or what but, I'm waiting as well.

It's possible it's a Java

It's possible it's a Java problem. Are you using Java JRE 7? If so, you ought to switch to JRE 6 because 7 has given me a lot of download problems in the past.

Agreed... New Java issues??

I'm having issues still too and I believe it's Java 7 as well. Java 7 only runs 64 bit (no longer gives the option to use 32 bit) Sadly for Mac users the new Lion update (10.7.5) only works with Java 7. I could be wrong but my understanding is that Mac users have a built in Java program so once you've downloaded a new version of Java you can't go back and get an older one. If anyone knows anything different, if I'm wrong or if you know how to get an older version on Mac please let me know. This is the text that shows up at the very end in the Java 7 Console when I try to run the game.

Error: This Java instance does not support a 32-bit JVM.Please install the desired version.2012/09/21 16:04:18:929 INFO e.a: Releasing lock
