List of monsters that desperately need buffs:

-Wolvers (most common monster, bring back old behavior)

-Zombies (bring back head nomming)

-Jellies (more health)

-Chromas (everything about them)

-Knockers (do I really need to elaborate here?)

-Retrodes (they were a real challenge, fix them)

List of monsters that should drop more

-Wolvers (seriously? 10 crowns?)

-Devililtes (doesn't feel worth it)

-Trojans (this one's a dead ringer)

Any comments?

Yes.

They still head-nom.

Lazy solution that wont fix anything.

What the heck does that mean?

Yes you do, other people don't do the work for you.

What do you mean fix them? If you mean revert them back to before the rescue camp patch, then yes.

No, the wolver den prestige mission is one of the best paying.

It is worth it, seeing as how easy they are.

No, Trojans drop plenty.

wolvers are the most common

wolvers are the most common monster, really? so that would explain why i almost never encounter them except in wolver dens - they are less challenging now but meh, how about creating new chroma centric beast levels so its not always wolver den (its a shame dragon depths never got implemented)

zombies dont head nom any more? well that sucks - yes

@Oatmonster it is a lazy solution but what else are you gonna do without developing new game mechanics

sure...so what do you actually want changed - just health/damage/speed buffed or something else?

considering how they seem to a a purposely weak enemy, yes, you do need to explain - allowing them a ranged attack would go a little way to making them more difficult in mixed groups but not by much

retrodes were never a terrible challenge, but ok, decrease the delay between beam and explosion and allow melee attack to track while telegraphing - back to original difficulty

as for monster drops - they are almost entirely random, you can sometimes get 50 crowns out of wolvers, additionally if they are the 'most common monster' they should drop virtually nothing
devilites are one of the few monsters i have trouble with (mostly due to lag and them being wicked fast) and they seem perfectly fine dropping what they currently do - which is random
trojans usually drop heaps - assuming you are remembering to smash the petrified trojan after death animation

Most common monsters: Mecha Knights, Gremlin Menders, Silkwings, Gun Puppies
Wolvers do not make that list.
If you want to buff monsters, go into detail as to what the buff should involve. Don't be lazy.
Monster crown drops are entirely random; the drops vary considerably, but are usually around a certain value for the tier (although you can occasionally get 50cr drops from Wolvers). This is as it should be; you shouldn't be looking for a certain type of monster just because it drops more cash. Trojans drop enough as it is, especially given how easy they are to kill. Even a poison-line Needle charge can OHKO them in a 2-man party, as long as it's the appropriate star for the tier.
Put in more effort. :U

Wolvers: add tracking mechanism, especially to Alpha Wolvers, which should have ability to turn 15 degrees after each bite
Zombies still have their brain-eating mechanism; potentially make them marginally faster, and decrease their crown drop rate slightly
Jellies having extra health will not do much to increase difficulty; potentially increase attack rate slightly
Knockers: ability to be revived by t3 Menders, slightly larger explosion and faster attack rate
Chromas: increased movement speed
Retrodes: faster explosion, ability of explosion to cross gaps a la Red Rover

"Retrodes: faster explosion, ability of explosion to cross gaps a la Red Rover"
"ability of explosion to cross gaps"

noooo... you'll take away my favorite cheap tactic for winning while being a poor player...*ahem*..i mean...thats totally..OP... /sarcasm
(pretty good idea, making them slightly more dangerous near corners/low obstacles +1 to that)

@Geregias: I always thought it was a bit stupid that the flamethrower can cross gaps, but the Retrode beams can't.
Besides, the beams are a straight line. How hard can they be to dodge? (Unless you're in a narrow corridor, but even then.)

@Geregias: I do not do sarcasm. Not never. No sir.
...also, I used that technique quite a lot as well.
It's just... it seems so... lame.

Zombies were 'nerfed' because the attack was bugged. If they did it, maybe it was too hard to fix.
Similar thing with retrodes and wolvers. They were harder, but in a cheap way. They need a buff, but dont roll back the patch.

Trojans are poor, but always drop hearths. Good enough.

Wolvers
Yes, the mission is fine. The issue is that in the Arcade, wolvers appear in far more levels than any other monster. The arcade payout could be increased by buffing their crown drops, bringing people back to the Arcade.

Zombies
I have played this game for over a year, and done countless runs of FSC. Not once have I seen a zombie nom on anyone's head. Ever.

Retrodes
Yes, I meant before the rescue camp patch.

Trojans
They are harder to kill than other monsters, and in multiple numbers can be a sort of mini-boss. When your mini-boss drops only 25 crowns, that's a cheat.

Chromalisks
The Beast family in general needs a buff, as it is extremely common in the Arcade.

Mecha knights, menders, and jellies are the most common clockwork monsters. Buffing the drops of one monster wont bring people back to the arcade.

Then you must be blind. If you haven't seen a zombie nom on somones head, how would you know about it and why would you want it back?

Akarus doesn't drop any cr, (at least I don't think he does). Bosses don't drop any CR.

Stop saying "things need buffs" and actually come up with ideas.

Zombies do still nom. Rarely. I forget how exactly it does happen, but I distinctly remember describing a new clockworks block while a zombie nommed on doc's head right next to me, I think it was about three months ago.

In order for a zombie to grab onto your skull for the tasty brains inside, you need to be slow.
Reeeeaaaaalllllllly slow. Like... oh, I don't know, Catalyser charge slow.
Then they will start attempting to nom on you.
The reason you don't generally see this is because you don't sit down and go off for a cup of tea in FSC.

(And yes, I did this once, I had a phone call to answer. It was like a L4D scene when I got back, there were about 3 different zombies dogpiling me just before I died.)
