Once upon a time in a land far far away Rubyeclipse gave the tumblr team of Adventure is Delicious each 1000 ce to spend on a contest. So, without further adieu...

Welcome to Inkling! This isn't going to be some normal meet-in-game-and-lag-out-together or a simple "submit your pics" fashion contest. This contest is going to be based on ideas, because after all, ideas are the basis of any fantastic outfit.

First Dates!.... I mean the number kind...
Starting: Today! Right now!
Ending: October 13th @ 12:00pm PST
Judging will start at 12:00pm and continue till a decision is reached, probably TBA the next day :D

The Rundown
In a nutshell what we'll be doing is simply: Create a "set" of outfits using one complete armor line (From 2* to 5*) and either the AH preview or spiral spy. For example:

Obviously, I snazzed up my "entry" and in this competition please do! Think of it as if you were pitching your ideas to a board of critics (because you are ;D). You want to submit your most awesome work. Here are some other things to keep in mind...

Rules, Guidelines, & Tips
1) You must use one full armor line from 2* to 5*. If there are multiple options for 5*, ie. Demo line, choose one. The recolor promos don't really count for anything, but if you want to do an extra outfit then more power to you!
*You can totally mix and match if you wish! You only need one part of your outfit to be the full line (ie. hat or armor- doesnt have to be both)
2) You must use the same personal color throughout.
*If you look at my "entry" You'll notice that the gold/yellow outfit's personal color isn't blue like the others... oops... that's a point deduction!
3) You must own one of the outfits.
4) You may not use the same combination of accessories throughout, each outfit should be different
*At the same time, any way you want to connect your outfits will increase your score, for example, using all types of helm side accessories bar one
5) You may use different positions in Spiral Spy to make your presentation look more polished, however please don't use positions that obstruct your outfit or its parts (click here: http://i.imgur.com/1nKo7.png)
*Try to find a view that shows off all the accessories you use on your outfits rather than multiple views. This saves space and time.
6) You don't have to connect all your images into one, however that is preferred as it makes the judges' jobs easier.
7) You may only use Spiral Spy or the Game Preview- As cool as it would be to draw your outfits or use a different type of method to show off your ideas, it's much easier this way for us non-talented people

Well, the idea was for the entries to be even so judging them on the same scale becomes a lot more possible. You can absolutely still use gunslinger or seerus, but you must have your helm or armor be one full line. (For example, demos with one on gunslinger or skelly with a seerus mask)

I am also putting my entry on Tumblr, because I don't feel like bumbling through Paint to get all this on one page, and I didn't use SpiralSpy anyway so they aren't all fancy. I am thinking mine will mostly be too similar to win anything anyway, but I still wanted to show my support :P

I thought for this contest you just had to use a 2*-5* helm OR armour, like Vifig and I have done, but both Kellnox & Cobalt have used 2*-5* helm AND armour.... I hope I did it right?

Mmm I think that it could be almost considered a line in itself as there are 4 (ie. laurels, shogun, medieval, tricorn) just like a hat line would usually be. However, we really tried to leave the creative door open for this contest so feel free to use them any way you want and ask for permission later XD

Alright!

Alright alright so I think it's been enough time of procrastination XD Time to announce the winners! Drumroll please!
*brrrrrrr**drummm*
1) Raphael Sabrewing!
His entry was chosen the most among the AiD members as their top pick as well as each outfit being extremely pleasintg. There was a high level of unity, where it definitely looked like a set, however each outfit also had the uniqueness to be worn on its own. Very well done :)

2) Two people take second place for a multitude of reasons: Vi & Incoo!
Both of you did a very nice job with your entries, but your numerical scores suffered a little because either one outfit didn't sit with us well, or there were tiny flaws that instituted a deduction

& Finally... taking third place...
