(I'm WAY to experienced to be posting here, but I didn't know where else it would fit)

So I've been seeing people in the forums who say they make a lot of money either buying and reselling or crafting and selling. Can some people give me help on things like prices, and what to craft? Thanks.

well ...... ;) i can help you

u can farm start off by doin 3 vana runs each day that will get u about 24k cr

then u can do a few jelly kings if u do that 3 times u will get about 6k cr

or if u dont need so much cr do RT if u do 3 u will get 3k cr

anotherway to make money is buy 2 star gear and try to sell it for 2 times its worth

also if u need cr just ask a good friend but just dont threaten his life to give it to you .....

Prices always fluctuate, to take advantage of that, you have to pay attention yourself (market/AH).
The advice I can give you now wont work tomorrow and so on.

I am just a knight

Hey! Well, I am just a knight (the rank after soldier) and i don't have much knowledge about good farming areas in my rank but could someone help me? I want to earn many crowns as much as possible w/o leaving the knight rank... And also I am a solo player, I have no "good friends" to ask about crowns and whenever I am shouting that I need crowns no one gives it to me... So I thought that there might be some stages in my rank that gives a fair amount of crowns... Help guys...

Right now the fastest way to get crowns (and best use of your mist) is one of the following:

FSC) Will get you the most for your money immediatly; no risk, low reward.

Collecting common materials) If the guild hall update, which should come out shortly on ~the third of october, requires crafting anything with materials from a place like FSC, then chances are that those materials will rise in price. If there is a big enough sink, you'll cash out. If it requires small amounts of them you'll cash out quite a bit less. If it doesn't, then you'll lose out, but not by much. Moderate risk, moderate to high reward.

Collecting boss tokens) Likewise, the guild hall update may or may not require these, but the playerbase for the most part vendors them. If you can get them ahead of time, then you might make a tidy profit on things that may end up costing quite an alarming number of them. Which tokens should you go for? Almire and bark. These are the ones that are currently worth the most. What if the update doesn't have it? You can always vendor your almire coins for 30K, and bark modules are quite a commodity as well. Very low risk, moderate to high reward.

Crafting the gun Magnus) If it, along with iron slug, become part of the standard player gear once it receives a buff in the far future then the UVs that you'd get might be worth more than the 24K each day on FSC. At the height of slow sword's popularity, sealed swords with ctr med went as high as 20K CE at 6K = 100 CE. Suffice to say that even at 8-10K Cr per 100 thats still quite a lot. If you've got extra mist that you aren't investing elsewhere, this might be a good bet... unless the magnus line buff ends up failing. Incredibly high risk, high reward.

-----

So given your circumstances, I'd say to hoard bark modules until guilds come out. Craft what you've got into an avenger and then start buying uncommon materials with it; oh, and don't vendor your minerals. The small amount of crowns they produce is a lot less exciting than whatever might come out that uses them. The goal for you shouldn't be "to make enough" it should be "to join the 1%".... at the current energy rates, thats what it will take for you to finish your gear and play through the game at what most of us would call a 'normal' rate.

Whenever the guild hall upate come out, act fast! Go through this checklist to cash out-
-Are there things that require crafting? Hold onto your materials; the market isn't ready. Wait till prices start to balance out.... but just a little bit. Like maybe a couple hours, or a day at most. That should be when the market is best; players haven't had time to respond to demand, but have had time to respond to the new craftables. If there aren't any, immediately start selling your pile of materials to get your profits back. Mats will be worth less than they already will be.
-Are there new boss token items for you to sell? See what they're going for. Buy the most profitable one and cash out ASAP. If not, you're going to have to wait a while. About 2 weeks to a month later, you'll need to purchase either static capacitators or pulsars, and craft these up one level before selling them on the auction house. You shouldn't make much a profit of more than your mist, but if you'll get valuable plays in the UV lottery. Very, valuable plays in the UV lottery.

so many threads

There really are a lot of threads on making crowns. Another one has been started in the past 8 hours in General Discussion. Please just search the forum.

Pierceguard, help us out by telling us which mission (number and name) you're on. Also, why don't you want to leave the Knight rank?

Reply to Bopp

I can do missions "5-1 Work for idle hands" and below... Well the reason why I don't want to leave the Knight rank is because the missions will be harder and harder for me to solo it (and I don't want any party because of the shared loots... Honestly I hate that) so I wanted to have many crowns to buy the best gear (like vog cub set) that can help me in my missions...

to clarify

I don't want any party because of the shared loots

For most loot, such as crowns, it's not shared. It's rather that everybody gets all of the loot. You don't get less if you're in a party. The only thing you get less of is materials. (Well, and rare random item drops, but those aren't worth thinking about.) See the wiki page "Party".

Additionally, I urge you not to let some desire for crowns stop you from experiencing all of the game's content, getting access to the 5-star Hall of Heroes, getting immediate access to boss levels, etc. Do all of the rank missions, I recommend.
