Massive lag spikes when receiving outbid notice.

Not sure if this should lie under 'Technical Issues' or not.
But each time I receive an outbid notice my client stops responding for a certain amount of time varying from 2 seconds to 5 seconds, extremely annoying during bid wars especially over some materials (ecto drops etc).
Is anyone experiencing the same problem, or does anyone have a possible solution/cause? Please tell me.
My laptop is pretty old but it runs SK fine on antialiasing level 4x with high graphics most the time.

This problem is annoying
I just did a damn candle's keep run and everything froze for 1 minute. I kept my self shielded, then I saw that I died and lost all of my heat. When I reved, none of my heat were returned. NONE. I have a big chunk of them
